I'm a Buddhist myself living in Bangladesh. I really feel sorry for Rohingyas and am very upset upon Myanmar. Bangladesh is a country which has almost all religions. Christianity, Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists as well. This is the reason why I love my country. Indeed there are some hatred and racist people, but most people are not like them. This is why people should never judge a religion or a nation without knowing it's true nature. Great Video as always man! Enjoyed it! Keep travelling to amazing places. Love from Chittagong ❤
K Dewan iam a british bengali born in uk but my family are from sylhet..thats a besutiful thing you wrote and u have a beautiful heart..but i just want u to know u dont have to say sorry for the action of other people ..these people are sick and twisted. Thanks for saying such a wonderful thing. Indeed all religions and cultures are beautiful and want peace. We all come from the same origin and we know we are all mankind. There are just some people who lost humanity.
I FEEL WITH MY HEART, YOU ARE REALLY A GREAT PERSON, WHEN YOU MAKE SUCH VIDEOS NOT FOR VIEWS BUT FOR HUMANITY SAKE. BEST WISHES FROM BANGLADESH, AND THERE'S A LOT MORE TO TRAVEL HERE, COME BACK AGAIN ASAP...
Interesting to see some rohingyas speaking a little bit English despite of the fact they had little opportunities on educations as they were being held back from every rights back in myanmar. Bangladesh government being very generous taking good care of them. Thanks bro for showing us what its like in the refugee camps which we could not know even being living here.. Very well put off!
Incredible scenes and honestly I feel bad that I didn't know this ethnic cleansing was going on. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. Great video, Nick.
Some of my friends, who are also doctors, are working there. They told me about the miserable condition of the refugees. thank you for filming something, which will be historical one day! appriciate your effort.
I thank you for your friends is hard working for the our most persecuted rohingya minority and indigent of displaced people in the camp. I'm also a Rohingya from Rohingya refugee camp Bangladesh
Amazing video. Eye opening to see this raw footage of the crisis from a non-media/journalist view. In a world where materialistic desires are the driving force, these children show you what this life should truly be about. Learn to love, respect, and welcome anyone regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity, sexuality or status. These children had the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen and I truly hope that never fades.
No words. Really. So unfortunate, so much they all must have gone through...a huge shout out to all the welfare organisations and the Bangladeshi government and the ppl of Bangladesh. How do they carry a smile and share a laughter in that predicament. Guys, lets all thank our stars and be grateful for what we have. God bless them and all of mankind. Peace. Kudos Nick!!👍
Bangladeshi Govt and People are doing really a great Job. despite being an Under developed country, Bangladesh is still helping those million Rohingyas. They deserve salute.
Nick I'm so proud of how far you've come and that you made this film. Sometimes the media package videos or photos to fit their narrative and sometimes the media doesn't pay attention at all, so to see the reality of the situation that isn't distorted to fit an agenda is refreshing and real. So proud man! Can't say this enough. The kids are so sweet and still seem so hopeful. We need to do more as the human race to protect individuals displaced, and to stop this in the first place.
Thanks for shedding light on the situation with the Rohingya in Bangladesh. Its important work that you are doing and much appreciated. Peace to you and safe travels.
Totally Amazing Video Dude, I was blow away by the smiles of the children, It always amazes me when it comes to survival how humans can adapt. Will totally be hooking up with Unicef/Rohingya-children, for some support. Your journey's are priceless my friend, PEACE, Belus
Hey Belus! Yes, the smiles give hope. Thanks for your support to not just me but these people man, you really are a legend. Cheers brother, stay safe. Nick :)
" What they've done to deserve that, taken away from their home all because of their religion" it truly breaks my heart, whatever the reason for the ethnic cleansing doesn't justify anything. Their smiles especially the kids despite the situation they're in taught us a lot of things. --I think your video deserves more views, this is something that the world needs to know and be aware of. Thank you very much for this.
This innocent childrens deserve a happy and peaceful childhood.... My family is already helping them by donating money.....Nick you have done a biggest help to them...Thanks for that....
The world needs more people like you I have huge respect for your kind, caring, honest personality Your channel is so much more than just a simple travel vlog
I Am From Bangladesh.Let Me Explain The Hotel Incident So First Thing That U Know CoxsBazar Is One Of The Biggest Tourist Destination In Bangladesh. So (Nov-Feb) / Pre-Winter To Post-Winter Is The Main Tourist Session In Bangladesh. So As It Is The Main Tourist Season And Coxsbazar Is The Biggest Tourist Area 99% Hotels Are Pre-Booked Most Of The Time By Local Tourists. (There Is Truely No Vacancy Most Of The Time) So When They See a Foreigner They Probably Think About Overcharging And As U As A Foreigner Dont Know Anything About The Prices They Will Overcharge And Give U A Room And They Will Cancel One Of The Booking And Give U Room Cuz They Are Getting a Better As Maybe U Will Pay With USD And They Will Overcharge. So When Robin/Bangladeshi Comes Up They Know That as A Bengali Robin Knows About The Actual Prices And They Will Not Get a Better Deal Out Of Him And So They Will Not Give The Room Cuz Robin Is With U Nick. The Rooms Are Maybe Pre-Booked And They Want a Better Deal Because Its The Main Tourist Session. That Is The Probable Reason And My Explanation. So There Was Actually No Racism Or Discrimination There.Hope u Understood :) #EnjoyUrTimeHere
The situation was more worse than you see now. By the proper handling of Bangladesh Army it has come in a discipline. Glad to see you among them. I think u will continue working like a hawker of Humanity. ♥
Thank you for the insight and an in depth look at the ongoing crisis, it is very sad to see. Only thing we can do is help and donate, good thing you put links to i will be donating. Keep up the good work brother 👍👍👍👍👍
I am really surprised and happy that a country like Bangladesh handling this crisis this good as it has its own various issues. Being a Bangladeshi I am not insulting my country. AS I am living in Australia last 9 years everytime I visit I see something new different and wonderful. So proud of Bangladesh now. Thanks, NICK TO show me my country.
Thanks for covering such an important issue and letting the whole world know.I've been following your works for the last couple of weeks. You are probably the first vlogger who have been travelling outside dhaka.I am a Bangladeshi currently living in Japan. Give me a heads up when you're in Japan, I'll definitely be in touch.Thank you so much for showcasing my country in such a good way. I'll sharing your videos with my friends from Japan and Bangladesh. It'd be great if could add you on facebook.
Great videos on Bangladesh. I was there in May 2018 for about a week on business. Did Dhaka, Chittagong, and a traditional fishing boat ride down a river to Kutubdia Island and Bay of Bengal. Traffic was EPIC all over and especially in Dhaka. 2 hrs to go ~7 km. They didn't let us walk the streets because we would draw a crowd and possibly trouble. It was hard to get a beer in the hotel because it was Ramadan. A bit easier in Chittagong, prolly because it is a port city. I am donating to Unicef because of your refugee camp video. They really seem to be doing a good job there. I knew we were close to all that in Chanua and knew a little about it. Thanks again
that what makes our Bangladesh and Bangladeshi people... we are always welcoming and happy despite whatever situation we ourselves are in... you are always welcome here 😊
Welcome to Bangladesh. Thanks a lot Indigo Traveller to visit rohingya camp and show the real situation all over the world through your channel. I am the resident of Cox,s bazar and closely faceing this rohingya problem.
Thanks for visiting them man. I was in their shoes once in 1999 and it wasn't a happy place at all. Living under a crowded tent with dozens of familes wasnt fun but again very thankful to be there than murdered. Anyway Every time we would get a white English speaking man visiting us it brought joy. They usually would bring some type of snack or chocolate bar that would make our whole day a better day. I was 7 years old at that time. I have Huge Respect for you man.
Our developing country try his level best to give the basic needs to the over 10 lakhs people. Thank you very much for make this as one of your channel's video...
Well done brother, im a british born bengali, iv been bangladesh many times.. your views are just like mine.. watching this i felt those emotions over again.
This is one of the best video on Rohingya refugee. Thank you very much for visiting those refugee and I appreciate a lot about your words in this video. From your words, expression and gesture, we can feel that you are genuinely a good and kind hearted person. We are very delighted to welcome you in our country,Bangladesh. May God bless you all the time. Again, thank you very much for all of these. Take care. 😊😊😊
Amazing video. Totally agree with your insights. World should see what Rohyingas are going through and work together to alleviate their sufferings. Salam from Bangladesh ☺
Appreciate it a lot that you replied to my comment man. BTW, I'm from Bangladesh and also I told a lot of my friends about your channel and now they're also big fans of you. Hope I get to meet you someday. ☺☺
Hi Nick. My respect increased a lot for you after watching this video. You are kind hearted, generous & brave soul i must say. Cause after this Rohingyas arrival in Bangladesh, i saw lot of foreigners are showing unwillingness to go to Cox's bazar even. They were thinking about their security. But you visited the heart of Rohingya camp alone! Salute to you man. The way you described the situation that's true & real scenario. This world need more people like you man to keep this world peaceful. Salute again.
Amazing work bringing these images to the first world. Keep up this fantastic work Nick. It's all the more important for people here in Australia to see this alternative reality as our Government punishes those fleeing such misery by putting them on offshore detention centes in the Pacific where they are subjected to even more torture and lose all hope. Many have committed suicide, nearly all have some sort of mental problem. We, the priveledged, should hang our heads in shame that we haven't done more for them.
I am proud to be say I am bangladeshi 😍 bangladeshi always helpful 😍 Great vlog! plz must visit BangladeshI all beautiful place with vlog... love u bro 👏
Woah! What a roller coaster of emotions watching this. Nick, you've really captured a lot. While the Rohingya people are dealing with a horrifying atrocity, I am pleased to see the joy the children seem to have with one another. Thank you for this education.
Such a heartwarming video, it's great to see these people prospering after being driven out from their country of origin. Keep up the good work with these videos!
I visited the earthquake area in Japan almost exactly one year after it had happened, it's not at all at the same extent of course but I know that seeing such things in real life is much different from seeing it on the news/TV. Great video and it should be watched by more people all over the world. Thanks a lot for sharing. Greetings from Sweden. :)
And by the way, love kids. Love to see their smiles and all these people happy for what they have; we should learn to appreciate more what we have too.
Dear Nick. Thank you so much for posting this amazing video. The content is extremely heart breaking but so necessary. I admired your candor in showing the unfiltered situation in this part of the world. I can see the emotions that are flowing throughout this video in regards of the immense disparity of this marginalized sector of the world. I love your channel and how immersed you are in the experiences of your travels. We seat here in America with a very little perspective of how different things are in such remote and struggling part of earth. It is true that children do not give a façade of sadness but are forging to obtain some type of happiness in such disparity. I can't tell you enough what this video means to me because I think as a fellow Westerner you are providing a spot light not as a journalist with a director and editor's agenda to sell content for profit at an evening news but to bring the reality of how paradox life can be for others who are so unfortunate. Rest assure that your efforts will not go unnoticed and my admiration for this video compels me to provide a small donation to UNICEF in trying to contribute in some form to help those who are indeed less fortunate. Cheers.
Hi there! Thank you so, so much for your kind words, really means the world to me. And thank you for donating to UNICEF. That is very special. Have a great day, take care. Nick
Bangladesh is already and over populated country and now these refugees... oh man Government might be doing okay with giving them shelter but they need to find a solution asap and send them back (of course with making peace with Mayanmar)
Thank you so much Indigo for that very heart warming video. You showed the Rohingya people more beautifully than any news broadcast. Their kids are like Bangladeshi kids. Their adults are just like Bangladeshi adults. It is sickening what they have just gone through (and have been going through) at the hands of the Myanmar's army and Buddhist population in general. I am proud that Bangladesh and the international agencies have given them food and shelter. We must now think ahead and stop pretending that Myanmar's racist, xenophobic and fascist character will change anytime soon. These people are not going back. They need to be gradually rehabilitated into Bangladesh's mainstream. That includes offering them eventual Bangladeshi citizenship. But that would unfortunately play into Myanmar's hand who wanted the Rohingya's out for good. But these are human beings and not chess pawns.
Thank you Riaz, really appreciate this comment. I am glad you think I portrayed the kids and adults in this way. And I totally agree with your view of the whole situation. Thank you for sharing.
Very well done. I can't imagine anyone finding fault or flaw with your videos; especially this one. I have planned to visit one myself and am surprised that you were allowed entry. For some reason, I thought you would need to secure special permission to visit. My Bd friends tell me one needs to be a journalist, Tablik affiliation, or have official business to go and interview the Rohingya. I salute your efforts and your videos. Hope this one goes viral.
You r such an amazing person, I feel lucky that I encountered ur channel in UA-cam. I never knew what is up with migration of people to Bangladesh. Great job man. God bless you (raghu from India)
This makes me realise how tough people's lives are even in my own country and makes me see the reality outside of my own comfort zone here in Dhaka 😄 thanks for the vlog, it's one of the best things you could have done, looking forward to where you are going next
Thank you so much, without your video I couldn't have visited the life of these people seeking refuge in my country. You are the first to actually vlog the situation
This documentary is a good current example of religious/cultural discrimination in the world. One can find it country by country to different degrees for various reasons. Also, as stated in an earlier comment, this place used to be a reserved forest for elephants, but the environment always looses in political upheavals.
Thank you for the video. I love the smiles from the beautiful children. I always wanted to know the condition of Rohingya people. I finally saw some of that.
Nick, your film has done more to highlight this shocking situation than any western news coverage I've seen. To every one watching, please consider making a donation on one of the links below. It would make a massive difference to there peoples lives
Thank you man. Well done. You have us Bangladeshis your new fans. You're welcome back anytime. Next time come to SYLHET and I will be your accommodation friend there. You can reside at my place. I live in UK so if you do plan to visit Sylhet then let me know beforehand.

So There Was Actually No Racism Or Discrimination There.Hope u Understood :)

+Jahirul Hoque thank you man, that really means a lot to me❤
I see you becoming a big journalist one day .
We will see, I really like UA-cam and the realness it offers, but thank you for the compliment!
thank you for shining some light on this...much appreciated
Thanks for watching!
Plz going sylhet,Bandarban and Rangamati for seeing the real beauty of Bangladesh 😙
That was incredible m8. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Elliot, was indeed an unforgettable experience.
Very nice initiative !
Thanks for the video.
Love from Bangladesh💕
Amazing work bringing these images to the first world. Keep up this fantastic work Nick. It's all the more important for people here in Australia to see this alternative reality as our Government punishes those fleeing such misery by putting them on offshore detention centes in the Pacific where they are subjected to even more torture and lose all hope. Many have committed suicide, nearly all have some sort of mental problem. We, the priveledged, should hang our heads in shame that we haven't done more for them.
Your really great brother .As i'm rohingya living in Bangladesh
Thanks Jonathan :)
Lovely Bangladesh.. Love from 🇮🇳
Shut up
Nick
Thank you for visiting that camp. You're really a good person. All the best.
Cheers.
U always maintain humility and kindness that’s very special! Kudos to U……..
a lot of thanks visiting of Rohingya camp..love from Bangladesh
No worries, :)
Bangladesh is already and over populated country and now these refugees... oh man
Government might be doing okay with giving them shelter but they need to find a solution asap and send them back (of course with making peace with Mayanmar)
@@100Diyab My four grandparents were from borishal, tangail and mymensingh. So we sort of have a connection with you guys.Im from West bengal.
Thank you for sharing.
what the hll mean cmp pawns wherever are

Thank you Jules.
bangladesh is paying a heavy price for these people....and still we are providing everything possible from our side...because we know how to share....
Such an influential and an informative video. Love you man!

This makes me realise how tough people's lives are even in my own country and makes me see the reality outside of my own comfort zone here in Dhaka 😄 thanks for the vlog, it's one of the best things you could have done, looking forward to where you are going next
Thank you.
Lol Dhaka is not comfortable
Thank you so much, without your video I couldn't have visited the life of these people seeking refuge in my country. You are the first to actually vlog the situation

Respect from England, thank you for shedding light on the situation bro 👊🏽
Cheers Billy
British are not welcomed here pls fuck off
This documentary is a good current example of religious/cultural discrimination in the world. One can find it country by country to different degrees for various reasons. Also, as stated in an earlier comment, this place used to be a reserved forest for elephants, but the environment always looses in political upheavals.
What is your next location? Any plans? Love your vids
Thanks, stay tuned for more
You are brave and have have kind heart Nick !! May Allah bless those refugees and give them and their families Sabar !!
