2023 Album Haul

A large album haul during the year I was away from home and was streaming music. Many great new artists and some great re-releases from the past from Analogue Productions and Mobile Fidelity. Several of the greater than 200 album haul will be discussed. As always, I will reveal last video’s unknown album covers and show two new unknown albums.

Alex, thanks for sharing part of your collection. The one that stands out for me has to be Nick Drake's Bryter Layter which I first bought a second hand copy of while honeymooning in Japan. Not only has it become my top ten albums of all time, the song At the Chime of a City Clock is my no.1 song of all time! I actually would like it to be played at my funeral! Northern Sky and Poor Boys are just great too. What a talent and what an untimely passing of such an enigmatic guy. Once again, thanks for letting us in your world of records. Maybe in the future, you should show us your collection on the screen! Also your interest in new artists are amazing and way way beyond me!

Thank you for your kind words. I struggle with looking for new artists since I feel I am abandoning older artists I enjoy. There is only so much time to listen. Maybe I should save new artists for Friday which is new release day. Thank you for watching
