I was 28 year old when finally a doctor realized that I have tachycardia and my hearbeat is over 115 when I am sitting. Till then doctors who saw that only said that oh I must be nervous because I am at a doctor or I have to loose weight and I only got shamed, but never treated. Since That one doctor gave me medicine I was finally be able to loose weight because I was able to be more active without my heart jumping out of my chest but even if I lost weight I still have this problem without the medicine and we found out my dad was also having heart issues. So dear to be doctors is you see a bigger person with a problem, don't shame them, please help them...

I have sinus bradycardia. 6ft3 250 lbs. Definitely not an athlete. My hr when laying in bed usually goes to 45 beats per minute but when im up its around 75 resting. Ive seen 3 cardiologist and all have said im fine. I am on 20mg of lisinopril and 10mg of lexapro for anxiety and stress. Do those meds interfere with heart rate?
I have bradycardia. I’m 72 and play Pickleball 4 times a week. I go to a heart doctor also. I watch my heart rate while playing and it goes from 70 to 135. I come home and I fall asleep when I go home . I don’t think I’ll ever get better. I’m good for one activity a day . Any cure in the future or is it just going to get slowly worse?

My walking average is 120bpm and my resting rate is at 70-75bpm i was diagnosed at the hospital with tachycardia but all my labs, X-rays, and ekg came back fine. They even preformed an echo and couldn’t find nothing. I am out of shape I’m 5’6 200lbs but I have no chest pains or shortness of breath I do have anxiety and my blood pressure was at 125/93 I’m going to see a cardiologist on the 23rd hopefully it’s nothing serious.

If you ever get tachycardia are you going to have it for the rest of your life? I was on a medication for ADD called Elvanse and i had a bpm of 120-140 for a few days. I got very scared because i had a panic attack when feeling how hard and fast my heart was beating, i have been on that medication for 3-4 days and everyday my bpm went higher and then i quit it completely.
@@Myworldmymind908 it feels like it, but each time i visit the nurse my pulse is above 100 so it is concerning her so we decided to now stop the medication. It could be just because i was walking upstairs right before but we did an ekg and it came out normal so idk what that was.

Some athletic people have rhythms down to 45bpm. Your case sounds normal and I wouldn’t be too concerned. It would help to know what your heart rate was before the change. Never hurts to check in with a doctor for peace of mind, and I would definitely lay off the weed.

My home kardia EKG said I'm in tachycardia. I take 100 mg potassium each day. I popped 200 mg extra and I got normal sinus rythum. Did that for a few days. Now I 've did continued all I and I want the brain stem to start controlling the heart rythmn.
@@Jamsportek Well youre definitely bradycardic then. I'm tachycardic myself. But if it gets to the point you get extremely winded and your chest hurts from walking and your heart starts to race from mild activity. You should probably see a doctor, just to be safe

Propanalol is fine. But get yourself evaluated by a good cardiologist what is the main cause behind sinus tachycardia after this lockdown. If it's anxiety then beta blocker plus clonazepam would help. But if it's directly heart related then medicines would work. If it doesn't then intervention in the form of ablation is required. Till the time you take care and wish you good health.

If I remember correctly, the cutoff for bradycardia is 30 bpms. Anything lower than that is an agonal rhythm.
Technically a bradycardia is defined as below 60 beats per minute.

Plus your talking about blood pressure and heart disease and anemia . Weakness , fatigue , anxiety , panic attacks , overthinking, etc .
For most of my adult life I've cycled a lot, so been pretty fit. My resting HR was always below 60bpm, and during the night it would drop to 45!

It may be due to your high fitness level.

Ive had an ablation for SVT in 1999. I get tachycardia still, sinus. Panic attacks can do it and can cause chest pressure in neck left upper chest

That could be POTS, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. It happens when you stand up.

I had tachycardia when I was 7 and it was so painful. I had to keep standing up and down, whenever I stood up my heart rate would spike up
