I won't give him that title, Dr Greg Fuller has first place but you have to love either pathology or radiology to know who he is. That said, Dr Campbell is certainly near his level for being a lecturer I can listen to any chance I get!
God I wish I had this video 14 years ago :D I never had ONE teacher to explain EKG clearly and beautifully, but I guess it is never too late to perfect your knowledge! Thanks for sharing!
Success rate can be high if medical students are exposed to educative videos like this. CVS demystified in a calm manner. Dr Campbell is exceptionally good! God bless you for the good work sir 🙏
I suffer from sinus tachycardia and self-research over the years has meant I understand much of this video. Mind you, Dr Campbell is such a great teacher and I wish I'd discovered him earlier.
I' am very impressed. You are a phenomenal Teacher. I've learned already so much from you in so a short period of time and I understand pretty much all of it and the funny part is, i'm no Medicine Student. Keep going with Teaching.
I also am not a medical student - just interested in learning from Dr. Campbell, after listening to him for a long time now. Of course I don't understand all of it, but because of the way he explains things, I always get a lot out of his videos. Thank you Dr. Campbell, you're an excellent teacher. Your students are very lucky.
In this age of animations and graphic visual educational aids, I am surprised that the most valuable training tool I have is from a Dr drawing squiggly lines on a bit of brown paper (albeit on UA-cam).. Love your work!
As a nursing student hoping to continue on to medicine and having sourced many medical related videos on youtube, this is by far one of the best. Thank you so very much!
THANK YOU! I'm a new nursing student working as a PCT in a surgical step-down unit and I was having trouble interpreting the telemetry screens that I'm surrounded by all day. Now, I feel like I will actually know what I'm looking at and can get more out of my working experience that I can hopefully apply to the care of my patients when I'm an RN.
Hi Dr. John, i just want to say thank you, the lecture was explicit. i'm moving on to my fourth semester in nursing school and the much dreaded cardiac test is ahead of me, thus i decided to start studying before the semester begun, this video was awesome.
Omg I have watched numerous videos, went through pharm school, read books and did not understand this. I listened to this video and I had clear understanding. Thank you Dr Campbell.
A little gutted to have only just found this guy... Quite simply amazing how he explains everything so well! Suburb... Can't wait to watch the rest! :-D
Once again, your lecture is easily understood. ty to the student who asked the question about elevated stemi I would have never thought about it that way. So your EKG lead is like a security camera focused on a moving object on the other side of the opened window. Kool
Just started a 9 month accelerated paramedic school... u never understand self study till your in a course like that. This video beyond helped! Thanks!!
My god dress I cannot express how clear and sensible you make this ! I have always been so scared of learning this topic due to bad teaching ! I am learning this so well You are the BEST!! I thank you sooooooooo much
Amazing teaching! I used this video to help understand reading ECG's during my veterinary nursing qualification. This covered everything I needed to know about normal sinus rhythm, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia and atrioventricular blocks. The teaching is clear and the visual aids very helpful. Thank you for posting this!
Thank you once again Dr. Campbell for a great lecture - I really learn a lot from your videos. I am an LPN, and also a student nurse. They really don't teach this stuff in school here with the same sort of detailed explanations and understanding. We usually just have to get what we can out of books
The importance of Latin language. In Italy we often say "you are vago", but not as a wandering person but as undefined, obscure, unclear. Thank you for your lesson!
I'm studying for my ILS course and I couldn't understand anything about EKG from it, I also looked on different sources as well but I couldn't comprehend got even more confused. After I watched this video I understood everything so easy. May God bless you sir for making complicated things look so simple. You truly are amazing, thanks God you exist
Well done Dr Campbell. You are an excellent teacher. Revisiting your wonderful lecture given 10 years ago. Good Quality Teachers, like fine wine, just get better with age. I came across your channel via Covid Research in 2020. Cheers from Michael. Australia.
Bravo sir bravo...you really really helped a lot. I hope whoever watched this video can easily and very simply understand the normal and pathological ECGs. I salute you sir.
Thank you for you're wonderful insight & tutelage! I am a student paramedic & I understood alot of what you explained here in a much simpler way than alot of textbooks & tutors I have listened to! Thank you Dr! 🙏👌❤️
I've been listening to your daily SARS-CoV-2, Covid-19 update videos, almost from the first one. Thank you. They've been excellent. Recently I've been exploring some of your teaching sessions as well. These are also very well done. You're a good teacher. Good questions in this session too.
Every day's a school day. I'm not in the medical profession but I found this absolutely fascinating as I continue my quest to find out more about my ectopic heartbeats.
There are hundreds of ECG videos on youtube. This is the best, well-explained video on ECG's that I have seen. A great teaching tool for all levels. Thank you for sharing!
Being a Basic Life Support paramedic and wanting to further my knowledge and studies soon Dr J. Campbell is truly a ECG explanatory God in my eyes I have asked many of my colleges to explain how to read and how to see abnormalities on the ECG's but thanks to Dr. J. Campbell i finely understand
Thank you so much for this video you hugely helped me grasp some concepts I have took a while getting, after finishing my degree in paramedic science there were some points I had never been able to fully 'get'. Additionally, all your pain management videos are so informative, I went off on a rather long tangent last year watching all of them instead of studying other things, but they were so interesting and I still did well with exams, but even more importantly can help my patients in better with a better understanding of pain and pain management. Will keep watching but thank you again Dr John!
I love your presentations Dr. John. I so look forward to watching them they are so informative and easy to follow. Thank you so much for sharing all your wonderful and extensive knowledge, I'm a big fan
Thank you. Having just had an ecg with the result of “ Normal heart rate sinus rhythm with sinus arrhythmia left type ST elevation in anteroseptal leads, acute infarct possible ST depression in inferior leads” I learned what those odd beats are. Looking forward to seeing the Dr to review them in a few days. I nearly always feel them. Only 45 and slim/fit.
I have a comment from 8 years ago, I never Imagined you would become such an important channel during the pandemic!
