Good looking 3rd gen and numbers are on par for big converter and shorty headers.....I can't help but think that a rpm dual plane would add a ton of tq in the mid range and still have legs upstairs......longtubes would wake it up for sure to.
My Skip White 383 is pushing 200+ more HP than that...Dart block, AFR200 heads, scat crank,wiseco10:1, comp cam 236/242-520/540, Brawler750 carb In 87square body💪💪👍
Do it, they have best components available for whatever stage u want to go...i goy the stage 3 w the most HP, biggest cam...well over 500hp...can see my motor dyno run on UA-cam, its my name skip white dyno run... Damn, have a similar setup in an s10. Dual plane, HEI, 3" exhaust, th350. But otherwise the same. Handful on the street. Havent been to the track yet.

Not positive, when he got the car he freshened the motor up with new bearings and stuff. But not sure on the cam.
