Here are my thoughts: • Quezacotl (9/10) - This has my favorite song structure on the EP, with melodies the entire time, and no melody-free drops. However, it could use a bit of variation in the melody itself. Ideally, it would extend the length of the progression and add a major/minor switch or key change to spice it up. The melody is just a little bit repetitive. Otherwise, top-notch. The chord progression and melody remind me of his unreleased track "melodies and whatnot." • Wet (6/10) - Solid song, just techno which I’m not a fan of. Great production quality though. • Sever (8.5/10) - Similar to Quezacotl but with a slightly less catchy melody and unfortunately a drop, which isn’t bad, but it takes up too much of the song to be ideal for my tastes. • Input Output (9.5/10) - The melody and progression in this song are absolutely perfect. This is deadmau5 at his best. This song does have drops, but I can put up with that for the mastery that is the rest of the track. The melodic section that starts around 6:00 is absolutely ascendant.

agreed on input output that track is really THE standard
Nice review dude. I agree with you on Sever.
My fav EP of the year so far, every track is it's own world and I love when artists manage to do that.
my name can tell who voted for deadmau5 ep
