Having seen them live recently, I find it hilarious that towards the end of the interview Xavier mentions that they don't know how well their new tour will be received. It was the best live electronic performance I have ever seen...
@@JasonRasmussen Yea It's a shame I never got to see Daft Punk live that would've been a dream. One can only imagine what a modern Daft Punk tour would be. But all else aside, got to give credit to Justice, this live show is something else.
it might seem a bit stupid, but i really appreciate that zane correctly pronounces xavier and gaspard's names! it's crazy how most interviewers don't even bother.
I love Xavier's explanation/answer to the French sound question. It's so obvious in their music that they hold a deep love and admiration to the Anglo-American music they grew up listening to. Then they put their own unique French touch to it. I hope they know they helped influence Anglo-American artists in return.
The new record is fantastic. When their debut record dropped in 2007 it changed everything for me. I never really like electronic music until I heard Cross.

I’m a huge tame impala fan and it brought me here! One night/all night is an electric banger, but Neverender really grew on me and speaks to my soul. The same goes for Daft Punk. Both Justice and Daft Punk are standing on the shoulders of giants including Ryuichi Sakamoto, Larry Heard, and many others, hence they are not the greatests.
I went to see their show last night in Monterrey, México and WOW. It was truly one of the best concert-going experiences of my life. Great work, and I'm very excited for the album!!!!
I was there too, man. And being a Justice fan for almost 15 years I can confirm it was a life-changing experience. The lights, the pace, the way they mixed their new songs with the already classic ones, it was just superb.

I discovered Justice almost 10 years ago, and since then Im a super fan. The first time I saw them was in 2008 at the MSG theater, the worst venue for dancing! I paid like $70. Now I'm looking for tickets for the next concert on July at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, and the cheapest tickets are $400!! Im sure they know that NYC is gentrified, but the old school fans who pay expensive rent and work hard, are very disappointed with these ridiculously expensive tickets!
Zane is such a great interviewer because of how open he makes the conversation and how much he genuinely cares about the artists and their art. everyone is always so open with him. gaspard barely speaks in most interviews but here he says a lot more then usual.
I disagree. Zane frequently interrupts-not just here but in every interview-and seems he’s more interested in his own thoughts and ideas than his guests. Frustrating for the listener. He comes across a bit arrogant to me, while Gaspard and Xavier are humble AF.
