Another George Floyd move 🤦🏾‍♂️that almost killed the man , he should’ve got at least 30 or life, you officers are hear to serve and protect not brutally beat people unless there’s probable cause . Grant I could understand if someone is threatening you physically then yes use force to protect yourself but if there’s no threat then don’t enforce it at all if they don’t comply with what your saying either arrest or taze the person if they are becoming a threat. This is just sickening!!! They need to do something with the police system on how they enforce certain situations.

I have to tell you, I am against the death penalty. Not that many don't deserve it but there have been many innocents pt to death. Look at the people who have served years in prison only to be found innocent through DNA. There have been many already put to death and later it's found out they were innocent. It's just another murder and it does not bring who they murdered back. I live in a state that does not have the dp. They get life without the possibility of parole. Actually I'd rather die than spend my life in prison..

Have worked for a sheriffs department for the last 24 years and I can't even understand and fathom what that man endured. He was beaten and bloodied to the point of needing medical attention and they did not give a damn. This was something I could not even watch.... let alone speak of. The police officers gave a sad excuse that they were victims and that they were...."conditioned " to seeing crime and poverty and that is what made them do this. I will tell you what I think of them... they are the lowest, the saddest and will pay dearly for the savage act they put upon this gentleman. I hope that he pays every day that he is in prison. I have seen officers lose their cool, but this is a far cry from that. I hope that this victim of justice can find peace with the brutal act he had to endure. I am sorry.

    • @samwhite4756

All law enforcement officials including police officers should be held to a higher standard of our laws. This officer has no none remorse at all . He displays this very well as of he's taking one for the team. Look at this footage clearly displays, his statement if he has caused . He knows he has changed this mans family lives forever very unjust. I also feel the sentence should have been stiffer more 7 to 20, they should be held at a higher standard. If throughout his career in which he has used the benefits of being that police officer taking advantage of those benefits. And the others who were part of the beatings and denied delayed rights should have their day in this judge courtroom. We must follow completely as to serve justice for the unjust that was placed on Mr. Dent by all. An example must be placed on those who are held to a higher standard and misuse of OUR laws. If they see real time is being handed down on them, there will be that hesitation into breaking OUR laws.

We have carried our family members and other friends to the graveyard.
We have watched our kids grow up and old together we have always known the lines that our nation and society have drawn between people of color.
In all my imaginations as a white man I could never see myself or my buddy cross the line this thing did while wearing a uniform.
