Awesome compilation. I'm definitely hearing a Beatles/Byrds influence in this. ..'Day Tripper' inspired riff, yes, also shades of Harrison's 'If I Needed Someone' (from Help). Great vibe. I'd love to hear Cheap Trick cover this tune.
Sounds a bit like one of the Beatles albums like Sgt Peppers or Magical Mystery Tour. No doubt The Beatles were an influence on this band's music. They could be the chameleon band of the Beatles music and so far they did a good job with this particular song.
What a groovy song!
The Rain Parade must have really liked this song!... Long live that '67 sound!
Great album, and this song tops it, IMHO.
Pretty rad!
AMAZING!
ça sent bon tout bon,les BEATLES, magnétique
The riff is definitely inspired by "Day Tripper" but this song is more mellow and has a much different feel. Great compilation, by the way!
1967 sound !
great.

If I Needed Someone was from Rubber Soul not HELP! 😂
@@niggato23 thanks! I was thinking of the Harrison song 'I Need You' which was from HELP.
The Rutles on Tea?
c 'est super
Mike Bruce of Alice COOPER EARLY STUFF
Wow, this could have been on the radio in 67 as a hit. I wonder where these cats came from to have the trippy sound down so early on.

Try also the rubble or the nuggets compilations if you havent listened to it yet
Not to be confused with the San Francisco band Wild Flower...1967-1968
Yeah, this comp rules. I never picked up the third one, A Lethal Dose of Hard Psych -- does anybody know if it's as good as the first two?
