I love my 450 H.O. I’m about 200 pounds and it pull me no problem, it’s my toy plus extra muscle when I’m working. I have front and rear brush guards and 2500 lb winch. Never had any issues with the tires, all bite no slip in the mud. Haven’t had any snow yet but I think it’ll do fine. K&N air filter to come for better breathing and will be adding extra lights. This is my 10 month review and I give 9 out of 10.
Nice video! When you consider the crazy prices people are asking for used machines, the 450 is a very practical choice. I have an older 500HO. It has enough power to get me anywhere I wa t to go.
Ditto, I just bought a 2019 450 HO for $5100 out the door. Was drooling over an 850 Sportman that had a sticker price of $7400 but just could justify that much Money. So far it has done everything I've wanted it too.
I bought a 500 HO 05 with a 2500 pound winch and a moose plow for 4 grand but it started to over heat alot after 3 days of owner ship so i sold it . Ps im thinking of a honda 4 wheeler
I have the same blue one and I love it. You can actually change the screen color to red and adjust the brightness by holding down the MODE button. Then using the up and down arrows to scroll through the menu and settings. MODE button is also the Select button
I'm a Tech at a dealership and the 450's have exhaust valve guide problems which causes ticking noise and it don't take long either, if u take it in before to many hour's they will cover it

How’s the reliability with Polaris? I’ve heard good, and bad things about the new ones. If I do get one, I’m going to get a 570. Also looking at Can-Am 570. For me it’s about how reliable it’s going to be, as I’m hard on my things. I have a Polaris 850 , the things a gas hog tho. I’m just looking for a more gas efficient four wheeler, for heavy trail riding. My current Polaris is a old one, and it’s reliable, just not sure about the new ones.
You paid 5k?? I bought a brand new base model 570 in 2016 for $4600. Abernathies Polaris in Union City Tennessee is the cheapest dealer in the USA. Always check their pricing to use as leverage against your local dealer. They were 2k cheaper than my local dealer so I gladly drove the 4 hour drive to get there. But mine was real clanky and seemed to have slap or play in the gearbox. Get on and off throttle and it clanked and clunked all the time. It drove me nuts. But they ride like a dream!! Like riding on a cloud
My 2019 had 80 miles on it. I put it in the shop due to loud valve noise and loss of power. I was told the 450 has the 500cc prostar engine is weak and lacks power. Polaris detuned it. Mine barely gets up to 45mph and that's a long stretch. Polaris called and said the engine is lacking power and I have engine failure. Polaris refused to replace my machine.
They have exhaust valve guide problems which is the cause of the tick u hear, the guide wallows out on the seat side and it's basically valve slap, they don't have replacement guides they just send u a new head
Yes I have mine snorkeled and have 4.2k miles on it and I basically live in a swamp up to my rack and nothing ever really happens just electronics get wet if u get up to headlight pod
I bought the 2020 450 HO, terrific machine,lots of power,fast goes anywhere has storage, racks, the 4 wheel drive is great-very pleased!

I have the 2020 and can do 50 up a steep grade but also have noisy valves
They have exhaust valve guide problems which is the cause of the tick u hear, the guide wallows out on the seat side and it's basically valve slap, they don't have replacement guides they just send u a new head

I have a 500 HO that mostly gets used for logging, it handles a 4x6ft trailer nicely. I have a few vidjas of it in action.
