Let's be fair polaris is a 500 cc not 450cc, the honda has much bigger tires than stock and heavier to the polaris should go against the Rubicon (older 500 Rubicon)
I've owned 3 different 4 wheelers 1 polaris 400 HO and 2 Hondas a Forman 500 and now a Rancher 420 4x4 es

What all are yall bringing to burdens machine wise?
@@LCPowersports bringing my 800 and the zforce 950 and then we will have jerricas 2021 800 as backup.
Fixing my radiator on my 800 tomorrow so I can drive it most of the time. And jerrica will drive the 950.. and we may swap.

I feel that I have an old 2x4 Honda trx200sx if I find mud I easily get stuck in any really muddy trail
Newer ranchers have front diff hill would have been a lot easier if he turned it on
This one just has 2 or 4 wheel drive no extra stuff.

I’ve been trying to decide between the Polaris 450 ($6999) and the Honda 420 ($5900). After watching this I’m leaning more towards the Polaris despite the additional $1100.
Yeah I wouldn't pick the honda again. It's a good machine though!

@@LCPowersports I personally own a sportsman 400 and a Honda rancher and the rancher never let me down, the Polaris is faster because it has a cvt but those can slip while in wet conditions where Honda’s foot shifts are beasts

@@LCPowersports appreciate this comparison because i am trying to choose between these two machines in the 2021 models, the Honda in my area is around 5500 and the sportsman is 1k more, both base models, Is the polaris worth another $1000 .........?

I'm not sure I understand the point of driving them through a mud hole like that. Both of these machines are great for just about everything, but why on God's green Earth would you intentionally drive straight through a hole like that for no reason?

If the people at Honda wanted too they could release a machine that would put polaris out of business. Mean look at the J Series V6 Engines greatest V6 you could put in Acura MDX or 7th gen Accord.

Honda use Actual transmissions polaris using some crappy Cvt system.

Yup, Honda is that far behind the rest of the industry
@@stevenmiddagh6265 Honda does not like the cvt and will never use one ever on quads. (On my old Honda the transmission never slipped in mud or water, (had water up to my gas tank) my polaris was in half as much water and the clutch slipped from water leaking in.
