I bought a Cyborg less than a year ago. I'm an MMO player and I like it very much. I bound extra buttons on my mouse to Alt, Control, Shift to access multiple hotbars on my cyborg. I will keep using my OG Cyborg because it's working great, but when the time comes these little upgrades will be very nice.
You guys should make an Azeron keypad without a joystick with thumb siting in a position with 4 buttons. Some games are not meant to be played with a joystick for better movement precision.
I have one and you can very easily map the stick to WASD or arrow keys or D-Pad functions, and you can even set the throw distance before it triggers the action to be super short. If you combine that with the restrictor ring, you can have basically a D-pad like experience.
Nice timing. I just finished building my new PC and want a new Cyborg and Cyro for it (Keeping my old Cyborg and Cyro on the old PC). I'm especially liking that it has USB-C, the Cyborg's cable is awkward to replace. I knew this would happen eventually because of EU regulations - even Apple had to support USB-C on their new phones :D.
I’m still rocking the OG lol I remember people saying they were fragile but I’ve been ripping on mine for years with no issue. Still, this looks like a huge upgrade.
Very happy to see this. I have the original "Classic" version, and while I really enjoy it, being in my mid-40s means hand cramps have become more of a thing with long sessions. The extra adjustability of this may be just what the doctor ordered. I was looking at the Cyborg, but now it's a no-brainer to go Cyborg 2. Now to spend 3 hours customizing the color scheme.... 😂 These are a little more expensive than other controllers, but the ability to customize the build/colors and the top-notch functions and support team make it an easy company to support.
I love my orig Cyborg, almost 2yrs. Been wanting to get a 2nd one for back up in case this one starts having issues. Looks like I found my 2nd one. One wish I would have is making a palm rest for smaller hands. Being a older, female gamer, there are times even the medium palm rest feels too big. But that is my only issue. With my Cyborg, I can even game in the dark 👍
that's not a bad idea but I don't know where you'd put it... the only place that makes sense to me is where that second mini thumbstick is located, but if I had to choose I'd keep the mini thumbstick.
@@SomeGuyFromUtah I think it would be cool if it were an option to place it on whatever tower you choose. Personally I would want it above the pointer finger.
Literally just got the version before this one today. It's unfair because it wasn't announced or mentioned anywhere a new one was being built. Kind of messed up. I haven't even used the Azeron Cyborg that just came in right now. Brand new. I'm looking to swap it for the new one ASAP!!
Do these things hook up to consoles? I’m kinda limited t just to bed and don’t have the best eyes, so I’m basically stuck looking across the room at a 30 in tv when I game and when I’m at home I don’t really leave bed.

@@sebgeorge6025 I was telling me wife about it and she was like, "I'm sorry babe, I know that's disappointing. Why don't you just buy the new one? We can afford it." I love that woman so much, lol.
Got my Cyborg a few days ago and seeing the improved top buttons of the Cyborg II make me sad that I had ordered a few days before the advertisment "to wait for something new" was on the page :/
You all have done a good job at Azeron with creating products and features like replacement parts, customizable wrist rests, even an adjustable magnetic stand for increased ergonomics. Would you guys consider creating a case to put the Cyborg in to keep it safe? Myself and I'm sure a bunch of others would appreciate this, even us who take good care of our Azeron. Also, in the future would you consider creating a keyboard-like tactile switch for the #2,6,10,15 keys? An individual key that you can purchase to install on the Azeron itself. This kind of key is useful for things like spamming edits on Fortnite. GGs!
There a reason you use mouse switches instead of keyboard switches? I understand using keyboard switches would increase the size of the device abit, but they would last a great deal longer, and using the right switches, can have actuation points to add even more bindings/keycombos.
Quite a few factors for using the mouse switches for current models. Other competitors use keyboard type of layouts and switches on their keypads, a different concept.
The Hall effect thumbstick is a great improvement , have you any news on polling rate improvements ? 1k ? Are the Hall effect thumbsticks backwards compatible with cyborg 1 ?
Polling rate is still currently capped, but we will look into improving that. Hall Effects are compatible with the Cyborg v1, but we don't currently offer the modules separately.
i hope you made them more resistant because in cyborg, i broke one finger! And you must performed the little thumb not comfortable to click without moving the hand !
Dmaned, if I had known, I would have waited two months to get version 2 instead of buying the full Azeron kit.Maintenant, I’m a little frustratedCan I upgrade my thumbstick to the new hall effect version ? Please say YES !?
I’m both happy and sad about this, happy because everything looks great but sad because this all comes out just shortly after I replaced my old Azeron classic for the cyborg. My timing never fails me 😂😂😂
love you guys and love what you make, and I really wanted to like the Cyborgs but there's a problem: it doesn't have "keys", it has mouse buttons. and because of that they lack any serious resistance. and while i understand that this is how most gamers probably like it, i'm constantly tapping buttons i don't mean to tap. as customizable as these cyborgs are i really wish there was a way to customize the resistance of the buttons so that i could make them harder to press if i chose to.
love the products, just wish the team would upload a file set of basic preset profiles for popular games on the market. the forum they have for the community to share profiles just isnt used much sadly.
Have you guys experimented with replacing the joystick with a touchpad like the steam controller? I feel like that would be a really neat addition if possible. Most of my issues with using my cyborg or original azeron gamepad stem from the joystick
I have used the Logitech G13 for years now, but since the device is no longer supported, I have been looking at the Cyborg II as a replacement. The Joystick can not be pressed down like the XBOX one, right? Or is it another button? Gotten very used to that.
@@David-qj2ze On the V1 cyborg it can be pressed, but it puts stress on the socket, and can wear it down early, so I avoid it. It's also hard to do (in my opinion) with your hand resting on a surface instead of gripping a controller.
I see they didn't bother to replace the awful plastic clamps that break within a year. They sell replacements so they are clearly aware that they are an issue. You'd think they'd include an extra set with each keypad.
Go in the button binding menu and set the release behaviour on second press or time out. It will hold the button till you press it again or for the certain time.
Azeron keypad will work on console games that support mouse & keyboard input, however you will first need to map your keys on your pc. It seems buying this won’t change my experience with Cyborg. Still not many games support dual input or simultaneous input. Even those that do, it’s like the game is receiving mouse/keyboard and gamepad inputs at the same time and the UI switches between them making game experience awful. The only game so far I’ve enjoy using cyborg was Elden Ring. Always displayed kbm icons even when moving thumb stick, Howarts legacy keeps changing ui icons between controller and kbm. Despite all those negatives, I like s seen my Azeron in my setup and use for other purposes than gaming sadly, haven’t seen many games that works perfect as Elden Ring. @@Mr_Sephiroth_EX it's the game's issue, not Azeron's. There could be something in the game settings which stops this issue, or you can use WASD-mapping for the analog stick in Azeron software. There has to be a file that maybe changing it make the game not show controller icons when moving thumb stick. Sadly not many devs care about dual input.
Turn thumbstick into wasd
Durable omron swriches? Those are the worst switches...
I know it's not the focus of the video.. But how the heck does this dude have long ass nails, short ass nails, hang nails... all at the same time?
The video wasn't filmed in one day
I really couldnt reccomend buying these until they move away from the 3d print. Cheap screws and parts make this more fragile then it should be.
That's what I was thinking. 225 for 3d printed parts is a no go for me.
my issue with it is the buttons after a while start to stick because its 3d print material
@@rileyredli8787 after finally pulling the trigger on one they are awesome. Very well built and the buttons have all been upgraded to 50 million clicks or something crazy like that. The base is metal so it's super sturdy. Yes the parts that are 3d printed may be more fragile than a molded piece but it's not an item you are putting a lot of pressure on. Expensive but I would 💯 buy another one if I had to.
@@judasblewit i just don't want to buy a third one and the buttons stick again. after a while of playing the friction heat tends to expand the keys bit causing them to stick.
@@rileyredli8787 you've owned 2?? Oh ok so I didn't think about that connection point wearing out. Can you get replacement keys? How long did it last before it started to stick?
V1 can be upgrade to V2?
No
