i just realized that the ambience that plays when your in the neighbor's house is the same one that was used the alpha version of bendy and the ink machine
@@Chaos_Dev Wow, I didn't even know that. It must be some sort of website that you can get sounds from, since there's basically no other way the 2 games could have the same ambience.
@@theincognitogamer According to sound file origins of the sound resource files of the modkit your correct, also quick fact but in bendy alpha it is a whole lot slower.
I didn't knew that this cutscene was activating advanced mode but good to know! Amazing how old game like hn pre alpha still can hide some secrets from it's community! That's one of the MANY main reasons why I like pre alpha
Fun fact: if the neighbor is in hunt mode for about 15-30 minutes, he will go into his ambush state in his ambush state he will stand near the garage doors and he basically waits for the player... so he can ambush them, 50/50 he goes back or out of hunt mode after that
I always get weird feelings abt this alpha.. alpha 1 2 3 4 and prototype aint scary but this build the pre alpha gives me the chills.. Something is wrong abt pre alpha... (anyways thanks for making the video!!)
hi, i'm surprised that many people don't know that if you hold down the right mouse button and press the left mouse button, you can throw objects in pre-alpha
@@azraazur Yeah, I'm sure he's faster when you're not looking or something because there's no way he moves that slow yet he can appear behind you that quickly.
I have a weird love for hn2 alpha 1.5, im unsure if its because the guest is my favourite character, or if its the visuals? (Heck, could even be bc how the guest fackin lobs objects at you at like 1000 mph)
The guest is also by far my favourite character, they really portrayed him well in the HN2 Alphas. Also I love messing around with the broken ragdoll physics when something hits his legs. It looks really goofy sometimes
You can't actually change the resolution of the game in the pre-alpha, you're thinking of alpha 1. However, I have played alpha 1 and I know how to fix it. On the main menu, in settings, change the resolution to whatever resolution you use, and make sure full screen is on. Then exit the game, and open it again. That should hopefully fix it.
@@theincognitogamernah, its definitely possible. the game by default is in 4:3 and it makes it look bad, and there are ways to change it but every way i tried makes the cursor off-center in the game. i wanted to ask since your game appears to be in 16:9 and not 4:3.
Ah, the reason my game is in 16:9 resolution and not 4:3 is because I cropped it into 16:9 when editing. Notice how when I'm opening the basement door the unlock bar doesn't appear in the top left? That's because it's cut out.
Yeah I also feel like most people preferred the alphas, and I'll admit that I really like it too. I'm still debating whether the full game is better or the alphas.
@@theincognitogamerI think the alphas are better because of the gameplay and the neighbors ai, in the full game the neighbor seems dumber and not aggressive at all since you can just throw objects at him, the gameplay in the full game is a lot of jumps and can get annoying, in the alphas you can’t really stop the neighbor easily since he is smarter(not every time), the gameplay isn’t much parkour besides the last two alphas and the neighbor can get difficult, especially alpha 3.
@@Robotic-j9i Yeah, I completely agree. I feel like the alphas (at least before alpha 3) were more of a stealth horror game, meanwhile alpha 3 and onward become more of a puzzle-solving platformer. However, after making my 2 videos on the pre-alpha, I can safely say the pre-alpha is my favourite build of the game. It has literally no puzzles, except maybe if you count the UV light, it is really fun to do stealth and is much scarier.
@@Robotic-j9isame I think Alpha 1 is probably the only build that combines the stealth horror and puzzles nicely imo And the neighbor's AI is smart (mostly)
