DIESEL FUEL FILTER CHANGE (yes, it was FULL of dirt)

Today, I show changing out the fuel filter on my New Holland LB75B backhoe. The machine was beginning to run poorly, so I figured it would be a good idea to change the fuel filter. The filter was full of dirt! Good thing I changed it when I did. I will be posting more videos with fixing, and general maintenance on the machine.

Did you fill the new filter with fuel before installing and could you show a short video or msg me how to prime the system. I ran one out of fuel and now I can’t get it started 🙄

Yes I did. And there is a screw on top of the filter housing. If you loosen it and turn the key to the run position it will bleed the system.

This has to be some indication of how poorly the machine was maintained
Do yourself a favor ..but the service manual.....change all filters and all fluids...it will put years of life on the machine and increase its resale value
