Hi Ive worked for JCB for years and now self employed, He certainly made a mountain out of a mole hill removing the lower trunion bearing. Small thin wedges and a good drift and a good eye will draw these out equally every time.
I just did this on a 2000 JCB 520-50… you’ve done it all wrong… I too spent 6 hours with chisels and sledgehammers… you need to use the 4 bolts as Jack bolts and unscrew them 1/4” and put a plate against them and use a puller with chisels and a hammer… we probably had 30,000 lbs of pressure on it… you can’t heat it as there are seals in there you’ll destroy
] As of 2007, it had daily production of 3.921 million BOE (barrels of oil equivalent); but significantly smaller than a number of national companies. In 2008, this was approximately 3% of world production, which is less than several of the largest state-owned petroleum companies.
I hate to criticize, in the end it worked out for the guy, but for God's sake first you need better suited tools for the job. Second....heat is a last resort for removing parts.... it's not even an interference fit part. Also you must apply heat to the correct part. Third and last its heavy equipment....beat the hell out of it until you win. Use large god-damned hammers. The love taps you are delivering ain't doing anything. F**k the old part, f**k the old seals and gaskets, f**k the paint, and f**k the owners wallet.
@@stevegill9704 doesn’t matter what you call it. It’s crap. Put that machine next to a Cat and see not only the difference in sales but watch the cat out work that junk
@@stevegill9704 I own Cats largest equipment. Anything else is junk. I excavate over 30,000 cubic yards per 12 hour shift on 1 excavator. Jealous..lmao. I can sell a 20 year old cat for half its original value. That should tell you the quality. You jcb won’t even last 20 years. Fact is in 5 years they are wore out
Nice video
Merci

could never understand why they never put drawing holes in them like manitou
Heating up the wrong part making it worse, should be gently heating up the main hub casting..

If you had asked yourself what heat does to metal, the answer would be that it expands metal. So you just made it even more stuck 😢

Heating expands the metal making it tighter

How the hell does a supposedly knowledgeable person let a machine component get in that state. Bloody joke.
That's how I bought it.
может правильно все зроблено а вот насчет нарушения техники безопасности козелки должны а не кирпичи

Why do people use under rated equipment. Jcd is about as cheap as you can get. The resell on them is nothing. Nobody that’s serious owns them
I know !! Your much better getting a JCB rather than a cheap JCD lol

We are all entitled to our opinion and I'd say your slightly jealous of Mr JCB
