Mike, just to let you know, I got a message from " you " telling me to get in touch via telegram, of course I am going to ignore said reply, it was a comment on the go pro v dji video. Just letting you know the spammers are back. All the best from a bloody warm Western Australia summers night.
Hey Mike, as to whether you do a mini-series, or the regular "every few days" type of videos, I say we vote as to WHAT EVER IS EASIER ON YOU!!!! We all know that you are wearing several different hats at the moment, and I will take what you send us, how ever you decide to send them! Thanks both for the education, AND, the entertainment!!! Great stuff for sure.
I'll take my dose of fun watching Capt Kleeman anyway I can. Mini series , maxi series, live stream or random. It doesn't matter. I smile through them all. You have a positive influence on my day. Keep the content coming.
The laid plans of Mice and Men. The pure joy of working on old iron. Your doing a great job sticking to the project, these old machine can be a pain to repair.
'Conveniently located' is an understatement for the access to the radiator - at least one could say it was well protected. You really are an observant thinker and doer.
Using a jack to pick up the side weights, pure genius. I like the mini series. But it's your channel and your call. I will watch both ways. You dah man
Nice of Ford to make everything so easy! 😂🤣The guys at Area Diesel Services sound like a really good company to deal with, many years ago when I used to repair and service my own engines I used a really good supplier, they were so good that the day they stopped trading, I stopped servicing and repairing engines. Like your can do attitude, as the saying goes there are no problems only solutions. Yes please a mini series on the side by side, am really liking the new format.
Holy Cow!!! 5 videos in 8 days, what a treat. Just keep doin' what you're doin", the channel is growing, it's fun to watch, and its all good content. Good job!!!
Lots of rust proofing on the front of this thing. Area Diesel Service best customer service ever. Captain you need to build you a wooden gantry over the front end of the 555 to help with reinstall. Another video of it’s own.
The Halligan tool is by far the most versatile piece of equipment any person can have in their inventory! I have witnessed it used in many, many, many applications: but today was a first....I have never saw it used for body work on sheet metal! Kudos to you sir for continuing the never ending list that the Halligan tool can be used for!!!
I’ll make you a deal Captain. You record the videos and I’ll watch them. (Insert green eggs and ham lines here) Glad to see the counterweight didn’t disappoint when it came to entertainment value. If only you still had the 755 on-site. I think I would have considered starting the 555 to raise the bucket and securely prop it up out of the way. Perhaps by looping the rad hoses before starting it but you did it the “easy way”. 🤣😂🤣😂
Cap’n the resurrection of the triple nickel continues. That Harbor Freight jack powered Gantry Crane, saved the day. It ‘s inspiration must have been heaven sent! A closeup of that chain hook nibbling a bite on the lift platen, is a photo that should go on Shop Safety Posters world wide. Like I said, “Heaven sent inspiration.” I think I understand the plan for this resurrection. See a problem, solve a problem. When you can’t solve one… it’s break time. When you don’t see a problem anymore, the resurrection is complete. Cap’n here’s hoping the supply of problems is exhausted before your abundance of solutions is withered away! Now…. On to the RangerRu!
From what I am seeing, don’t change a thing, it’s always good to see a new adventure every time. If you start doing the mini series thing, it will it will take the guessing out of the game and spoil all the fun.
The mini series was cool. Three 20 minute videos, verses waiting a week for one 60 minute video. 👍🏻 I’m glad you’re back on the 555. You’ve got me looking for some sort of ‘ran when parked’ backhoe now.
I love to watch anything you put out Mike it's great entertainment watching your videos but your post I'll watch the side by side would be great to wait and see it finished 😀
When I saw you put that jack on top to lift that plate I thought to myself genius. And then when you added the straps for safety I was completely blown away. Real-world work get it done.
As far as the mini series goes Captain, make it easy on yourself! Anyone that watches your channel already knows that you're a very busssssy man! Thanks for sharing.
Well, Captain. It was nice seeing you getting over on that struggle bus. You got a lot figured out and done getting that radiator out ready for the new one to go in. Then Murphy and his Gremlin friends showed up concerning the water pump. Thanks to Area Diesel's awesome professionalism that issue will get resolved pretty quickly. Good news we are going tpo get to watch an episode of the FrainkenBuggy build next.
I actually enjoy the moving back and forth between projects because, well, that's how life works. That is how life works, right? It's not just me, is it?
What ever works for you is fine. You know what you can do. You make my day. If I lived back there I would come and help you out. Keep it going and stay safe.
I found your channel through Dirt Perfect's channel and I have to say that you bring back great memories of me and my buddies working on cars, etc back in the mid 80s!! You are the epitome of "Shade Tree Machanic" and I mean that with great respect and props!!!!! Thank you as I am enjoying your channel immensely Captain!!! 💜💜
Good Morning Mike, The Mechanic Gods must have been watching you and helped you not break any bolts during the Project Today. Great work stay warm and keep on moving on.
Area Diesel from what I have seen with other UA-camrs go above and beyond to help each of You Guys out, which is a DYING BREED in this Country . SO AWESOME they still Keep the Customer First...If and when I need something for my Duramax I'm going to them.. It's hard to find that kind of Company...Great job tearing that radiator out. Those Counter Weights and Nose is Very Heavy. Been there with my Dad's old 555 B 4x4.. Hats off Too Area Diesel Services again..Great Video as always Mike.. Also wished You had Pocket Tees Shirts, too buy. LOL...HAHA...
Awesome video!! I know I have said it before, I admire how you think things through and get it done!!! I am 62 years old and I will still bust a gut before I ask for help! Love your videos ❤️
New here from a couple of weeks back, but without know it I was fixing to get myself an Ford Backhoe 550, cause it is available where I live. Finding this treasure of a series where you literally dig through all the kinks a machine like this can throw at you... simply is priceless in my situation. so THANK YOU !
There is grace and honor in humility Mike! No shame in not knowing stuff, only shame when you insist you know something you definitely don’t! Keep up the great work!
Does a frightening "Rube Goldberg machine" ring any bells with you???? And you do it all in the SNOW! Short updates on "projects" are great. You can always do a Cecil B. DeMille production to stitch them together later if there is demand.
Good Afternoon Captain, Lift an inch, crib an inch…. get a good purchase point with the Halligan so it doesn’t slip… it’s almost like you have done this somewhere in another life… lol “Permanent Lefty Loosey” Don’t you just hate when that happens? Your running commentary during the videos, reminds me so much of what goes through my head when I am working alone in my shop. Love the video, love the progress and love the projects. Stay safe and God Bless
Sounds like Area Diesel are the real deal...when you send back the 'new pump', why not send your old one as well; it might help them to source the proper one a lot faster. Keep the videos coming buddy.
Memories of my first car and changing engines with a retired mechanic looking over my shoulder saying "That's not going to work!" about every 5 minutes. It worked. It shouldn't have, but it did.
Not even 10 minutes in and we already got these beauties. “I’m looking behind me like there’s a gantry crane” “I’m not saying it’s ideal” “Now what do we do with it” Your sense of humor is as great as your work ethic.
Man they didn't make it easy to change the radiator! Lot of work Captain! Area Diesel doing great things! Seems Area Diesel is involved with many channels!

Great video Captain Kleeman
I'll take my dose of fun watching Capt Kleeman anyway I can. Mini series , maxi series, live stream or random. It doesn't matter. I smile through them all. You have a positive influence on my day. Keep the content coming.

Yeah, ditto what Martin said. :)
well, a big 'thank you' to Area Diesel Service for helping out the Captain!!!
Definitely!
I don't care what ever makes you glad
Nothing works better than a Halogen Tool for forced entry to do sheet metal work. I love the ingenuity!
I dig your patient and happy-going demeanour. Absolutely love your videos, you know what you're doing whether you know it or not.
7:56 looks like a "oh, now what?" moment :)
The laid plans of Mice and Men. The pure joy of working on old iron. Your doing a great job sticking to the project, these old machine can be a pain to repair.
Using a floor jack as a cherry picker...good thinking!!!
Mike would like to say THANK YOU to area Diesel service for their help in getting you further on with this build 👍 😉
Triple nickel is your twin 😜 What ever makes you happy, makes us happy 😊 thanks for sharing and keep them coming, great job Mike!!👍🇺🇸
It's good to know that Rube Goldberg is alive and well, living in southern Indiana
'Conveniently located' is an understatement for the access to the radiator - at least one could say it was well protected. You really are an observant thinker and doer.

Area Diesel Services seem to be the company you always hope to deal with but, rarely do.
They are absolutely fantastic to work with
I got in the routine of every other day watching separate mini series on certain projects is great to 👋👍🇨🇦
You're my hero! That's the way I have to do repairs 3 miles on top of a mountain or something like that! Never break down at home.
Always seems to work that way lol
Every time!
It's like doing plumbing work! You have to make at least 3 trips
Lots of rust proofing on the front of this thing. Area Diesel Service best customer service ever. Captain you need to build you a wooden gantry over the front end of the 555 to help with reinstall. Another video of it’s own.
Would never guessed you could have lifted those counter weights out! Good content!

It's so handy!
Mini series for the win 🏆
Mike, I liked the mini series. I'm one of those who like to follow a project all the way through instead of jumping around. Thanks
A good firefighter always has a tool, see you’re taking that to the next level
💪
I’ll make you a deal Captain. You record the videos and I’ll watch them. (Insert green eggs and ham lines here)

As an old Ford mechanic (now retired) from Norway i follow your project with great interest, memories are popping up.
Appreciate ya watching

And Liking Comments doesn’t hurt anything either!!!

You know some of the things you come up with Captain. I know your guardian angel is in therapy. Lol God bless
😂😂
If anyone ever deserved to be gifted a FORD backhoe, it is you. All the work you're putting into it will definitely payoff. Another quality DJI video.
Patience, thought, ingenuity. Anything can be accomplished. Thanks for the video lessons that you don't even know that you teach.

Cap't, you are the man. Snowing, and you are 'out there' doing what you do. Just gotta admire your tenacity. Big Salute!
I appreciate that
"I got some new tools..." and a Halligan 😉
Had it for a few years now. Great tool to keep around the property
You turn most everything positive. My wife is like that and it's a blessing. I am not that way. Lol 😆 🤣 😂
Well, Captain.
It was nice seeing you getting over on that struggle bus.
You got a lot figured out and done getting that radiator out ready for the new one to go in.

No offense Captain but I'm glad I'm not the only one with projects that give you a headache
Had to get yourself a big boy toy with that breaker bar set ! Paid off big time ! It ain't no lawn mower after all.
Definitely glad I did
I actually enjoy the moving back and forth between projects because, well, that's how life works.
That is how life works, right?
It's not just me, is it?
Fair point
You had me in stitches with this episode. The headaches and bloody knuckles you go through for our entertainment and enjoyment is greatly appreciated.
What ever works for you is fine. You know what you can do. You make my day. If I lived back there I would come and help you out. Keep it going and stay safe.
😂🤣 You need that sky hook about now!!
Yeah I do! Lol
Capt. Kleeman - the ultimate Rube Goldberg engineer! 😊
Your problem solving skills are very impressive, enjoy your videos. Thanks 😊

I think i have said this a thousand times, your channel is great.

Not having the knowledge isn't the problem. The cure is knowing who to call to get an answer. When you have an opportunity then pass the knowledge on.

AreaDiesel continues to impress. Good spirits under the hood sure helps
They are fantastic!
Aera Diesel Service is awesome. God bless
Sounds like Area Diesel are the real deal...when you send back the 'new pump', why not send your old one as well; it might help them to source the proper one a lot faster. Keep the videos coming buddy.
mini series on the SxS I think would be good, I like that format, it worked well on the UA-cam Yacht
Once again, your ingenuity is AMAZING!!!
💪
Beautiful snow
When they say old stuff is built better this is proof. How everything is heavy and built well as well as easy to work on…. For the most part
Memories of my first car and changing engines with a retired mechanic looking over my shoulder saying "That's not going to work!" about every 5 minutes.
It worked. It shouldn't have, but it did.
Every few days on the Franken-ubaru SXS project.
Not even 10 minutes in and we already got these beauties.
“I’m looking behind me like there’s a gantry crane”
“I’m not saying it’s ideal”
“Now what do we do with it”
Your sense of humor is as great as your work ethic.
Lol thanks
Great use for the Halligan bar. Keep up the good work.
Whoop whoop new tools😁
A Fireman and his Halligan Tool, I see you found a way to slip that in the last few videos. Nice.
Its gonna be like new when you are done! And yes, that latch is very satisfying.
still an awesome score for a backhoe, she is coming along well and Watch Wes Work took a tour there
Nice going, Mike. I wish you had a helper.
Great customer service from Area Diesel Service. Hard thing to find these days.
You got that right!
Man they didn't make it easy to change the radiator! Lot of work Captain! Area Diesel doing great things! Seems Area Diesel is involved with many channels!
