Even as a musician, I played professionally for 7 years and when the band broke up, I was so fed up with guitar. I literally hung it on a wall and didn’t touch it for almost a year. And I’m a pretty proficient player but just doing it 5/6 nights a week for 7 years got soooo boring.
Same with VFX, I figured that was the great job. I’d done Dunkirk and I’m Dreaming of a White Doomsday and a few commercials and I was like mwehhh... boring!
It’s really a burden! I have no idea how to make it till my pension 20 years from now. I truly admire people who can do a job (any job) for years on end and not get bored and love it.
@@rdoetjes I’m pretty similar in the sense of experimenting with new hobbies / skills/jobs etc and i also can become very bored after a certain time period of the doing it it gets repetitive. However i do feel 99% of people do have at least one activity, skill , hobby , they truly never get tired of . for me it’s Painting . I think the reason i never grow weary of painting one portrait to the next is the creative freedom of it since art is subjective. There’s many possibilities i can paint an certain image and it’s also a great outlet for me to express my feelings .
i mean you gotta be fast and remember all the orders without asking customers all the time, like i think this can be hard
I feel bad for the types of parents who would use this exact profession as an excuse to threaten their children to work hard in school
Yeah my parents are kinda like that. I understand why they force their kids, but i think it should be the child’s choice to choose whatever they want to do in life. Their profession of choice should be validated by their parents
sorry if this reply was long :|
Personally I’m ok with it. Most children don’t know what’s good for them anyways but having money in the future gives you an easier ability to change your life into anything else you really want to become at any time later in life so there’s that at least

I got mad respect for fast food workers cause they the ones giving you that 10 piece mcnuggets after you come home after a long day.
When I worked nightshift at a McDonald's, I gave every 4th or 5th nugget order an 'accidental' 11th nugget. I hope it made their night

The way I see fast food workers is very hardworking and just straight up impressive because they have to deal with so many Karens.
People like that are the major reason why working retail is hell
Girl- lmfao
im gonna be 2 years now working at chick fil a and im still proud of myself working there 😁
From my experience working fast food, we need to get the orders done in a out 1min 30 tops. And usually there's about 5-7 constant orders during rush hour, the amount of stress I am under at times is unbelievably high, especially if I'm "On bench" alone
Lol😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
People who look down on fast food workers probably also tell their kids "If you don't go to school, you'll end up like that garbage collector over there."
