long comment warning because love what laufey said at 7:57 -- because that's exactly how I felt -- after hearing her own message i found that my interpretation of goddess was different. i saw the message of goddess more about being physically objectified as a woman in countless ways. even the "manic pixie dream girl" people may romanticize in movies, being put on this pedestal because of beauty and our outward self may make our potential partners take advantage of that and may even only see our worth in $3x: "You stole my youth // You wanted this so much" and it is to the point where our other parts are not valued. and come time to actually peel back these layers of me outside of our appearance, they don't stay for our raw, real self and personalities so they disappoint themselves, and us.: "I'm so naïve to think you loved me for me" "You took a star to bed // Woke up with me instead"
I almost fainted when she said she would like to try on south america...I really hope she can visit Chile one day, not only cause I love her music and how it makes me feel but also would be a nice chance for the national orchesta aside playing next to Andrea Bocelli a few months ago. I almost fainted when she mentioned her interest in visiting South America... I truly hope she can make it to Chile someday. I really love her music and the emotions it evokes me. I think it would also be a fantastic opportunity to also watch a performance with our "Orquesta Metropolitana", which performed alongside Andrea Bocelli a few months ago.
