- This puzzle from dailykillersudoku.com is over 10 years old but has an average solve time of well over an hour - despite being rated only 4/10. This grading is horribly misleading, this is a brute. Give it a try and then take a look at one way of making logical progress.
Very useful stuff! I would love for you to do some more explanations of how to do the "Harder" (9 or 10 difficulty) dailykillersudoku puzzles if possible? Nothing beats someone walking you through it to aid learning 🙂
Thank you for showing how to get started with this sudoku. I have the past 2 weeks tried a number of killer sudokus, and find them quite entertaining. I like to propose another difficulty 4 no. 34 from same website. I finally got it solved and with no very deep reasoning like with this no 184. But I think the no. 34 is good for instructions, because many different tricks needs to be used.
I love these puzzles. Have for many years. Thank you for your tips and strategies. They challenge me to tackle these very difficult ones.

Well I'm still as confused as ever.

Him: “And at this point it becomes solvable.”
Me: “Ah yes, solvable.”
Why did you assume the number in the 24 square was a 1 and the sum of the 21 sq was 10? I'm doing this puzzle now ans can't find anything to indicate that.
This puzzle is known in the trade as a stinker....level 4!
