I'm hyped for this! Wally West Flash getting the spotlight and its great to see Black Lightning & Captain Atom finaly getting some love! Star Saphire is an interesting choice but I love the inclusion of other Lantern corps! And of course the Trinity makes it perfect!
I was only yesterday wondering when they would be bringing Captain Atom back and so happy to see Martian Manhunter on one of the covers there but where's Aquaman!? Mia!
If you have the perspective of a comic book historian, we are entering a momentous phase in comics. Both Marvel and DC are regrouping themselves for new product after their brands taking major hits. I am fascinated by how DC is integrating all of Jack Kirby's stuff. This is important. I think. Kirby, the old master written off in the Bronze Ag,e created the comics that provide the foundation for the entire DC Universe now. The world loves comic books. Jack King Kirby baby!
I feel like the Young Justice era was done way dirtier than The Titans. But yeah why is it so hard for DC to give their young hero team's the respect and attention they deserve?
Ya, it is weird that there isn't any green lantern on the team. Star Sapphire is definitely an interesting addition. Also, the current green lantern comics are actually pretty good. The other green Lanterns will also most likely still show up in this series because an interchangeable lineup was promised, so maybe after the first storyline. Either way, I'm excited, and I'm going to give it a chance.
They never gave the Titans a chance. If they were supposed to be the world's premier team they should have had them face off with more major world threats. Seemed like they were fighting typical threats from previous Titans series.
That could be the point. The Titans are just not ready for that responsibility...at least not as long as they are the Titans and many of them even if they have served on the League before, they're more comfortable as the Titans. The Titans (sans Wally and Kyle) don't realize it, but they're a transitionary team. Wally and Kyle have been part of the Titans and the League both...and they're both more comfortable with the League these days....especially Wally to the point that many probably forgot that he was ever a Titan...and for good reason....most people were first introduced to him as The Flash on Superman:TAS and his "Jiminiy-fication" on JL and JLU...probably because he sees five of the other six he usually hangs out with as wooden puppets that act like mules too much (mostly Uncle Batman)...except Auntie Diana of course...to him Auntie Diana...is Lady Azura.
@@pelicanhill3251 it was an expirement that didn't work. That was the point. Think about it. Each time the attempt was tried to replace the Justice League, it was met with a disaster during Dark Crisis. Jon's team actually was decent...him, Supergirl, Damian, Yara, Jackson, Ted & Jaime and Frankenstein, but Black Adam kept critcizing him thinking that "a bunch of rejects and weirdos" (his opinion not mine or Jon's) couldn't defend the planet, even though Wally had just called in Uncle Hal for help on a recon...and Black Adam kept forcing Jon to step aside for Nightwing to lead...when Jon was starting to stand his ground about...no, this is my league, this is what we do. Jon also should have said...if you don't think I should...how about I call Uncle Wally back? Nightwing was being prepared to lead a premiere team (mainly the league) for years by Bruce, but the problem is...that's just not really his or Donna's thing. They're also not really back-ups, they have their own missions with B-List threats (aside from Trigon and Raven's "darkseid" named Lenore), but they just are not willing to make the same kinds of sacrifices that Wally and Kyle are willing to make...except for Garth. Garth has also shown he is willing to put being a Titan behind him before and join the league as a part-timer since like Pappy Arthur, he too prioritizes his kingdom of Atlantis and his state of Shayeris over everything else...for he is a prince and the former king of Atlantis. To be a member of the league, you have to be willing to make the transition from carefree young adult to proper concerned parent and make decisions that even your allies won't agree with sometimes. That's not something that Dick, Donna, Kori, Vic, Rachel, Gar and Roy are ready to do yet, even though Donna has a kid who Wally recently rescued. Garth, Kyle and Wally have made that transition and Garth and Wally are both dads too. Garth has a son named Cerdian (who Wally also recently rescued, Delphis/Dolphin is his mom) and Wally has three kids with Linda, twins and a newborn....Kyle? He's like that Neurodiverse kid who really learns what it's like to take care of people and finds it better to behave similarly to people like Wally and Garth than the other Titans....essentially Garth, Kyle and Wally are Dad Bros.
@@Superlad9494 My point is it was an experiment that didn't work because they didn't try. The Titans have been around forever. Vic and Wally have already been Justice Leaguers. Although, not sure if that's still the case in current continuity. Either way, it's just fiction, all they had to do was actually portray them as ready for the role. That's why I think it was strange, DC proclaimed that the Titans were going to be the 'main' team, but then did everything to not let them take on the role.
@@pelicanhill3251 every Titan gas been a leaguer at some point, but Wally is the only one willing to fully let go of Titan business and go full league. The Titans have Peter Pan Syndrome, that's why it didn't work.
Not really, it's always something like this, some big new initiative that will change everything. We're still using the same crappy writers, they just played musical chairs with them. Trusting dc to do anything right anymore is impossible.
I'd like to see more Titans make the change...and we'll be seeing some soon like we did during the 2001 Justice Leagues event and the 2018 No Justice event...so maybe eventually they can try dividing the core members up into leaders of different factions like that again? 2001's division also said this about the leadings when that happened. Wally's the best leader. Wally had a league of Adventure and a good line-up too...and Kyle's Air league wasn't that far behind. That's also probably what caused the Titans-Era league to fail before Flashpoint...everyone relied on Dick & Donna too much. Dick & Donna are great leaders of the Titans, but lousy in the league...no they're not terrible, but they aren't meant to be the Titans who lead the League...that's meant for Wally and Kyle...because only Wally and Kyle ever had to make that transition for good from "junior partner" to "main guy" even if Kyle got flung into it as the only one with a ring before he was mentored by Ghost-Hal and John and his golden age Predecessor Alan Scott...and...ugh...some Guy. I mean Wally and Kyle dealt with having their mentors either be "dead" or an "angelic ghost" for awhile...and even better? Wally was the only one of the Titans to seriously think about changing his attitude from "fresh hotshot" to more serious, but fun loving after the DAROS business.
I watched the first three episodes and it wasn't really for me. I do like anime and DC content. But I guess I'm a little suicide squad out. There's been so much suicide squad content over the past couple years and it has to be really good now to keep my interest. Creature Commandos atleast has a different spin on the characters with more monsters involved which gets me interested.
Thanks for watching, guys!!

Yay Wally west on the team that makes me so happy 😀
I did kinda wish to see Martian Manhunter in the lineup but I'm sure he'll show up eventually.

Because the young heroes fucking suuuck 😂
Okay. A while ago, I compared Superman to Captain Pike. So I am very pleased seeing a Superman that resembles Pike.
I’ll be buying it day one
Bro the Titans thing was interesting but nowadays Titans seems like the most skippable title DC has, so yeah I'm glad the League is back
Im excited
I am happy the justice league is returning because frankly we need this team to return more than ever and disbanding the team was dumb in my opinion.
I'm hyped for art from Dan ....6 different human GL's and none are on the team?????

By the way, did you get to see Deadpool and Wolverine yet? I saw it two days ago and it was FREAKING AMAZING!
Ya I saw it. It was awesome!
I can't wait for
Dc all in special
