- The Justice League faces betrayal and Earth is being Invaded.
When a powerful alien battleship attacks Earth, the League joins forces with the Thanagarians, led by Hro Talak, who warn of an impending Gordanian invasion. However, shocking revelations about Hawkgirl’s true mission and allegiance shake the League.
Hro’s sinister plan to sacrifice Earth to defeat the Gordanians is uncovered, forcing Hawkgirl to betray her people to save humanity. The Justice League, despite being overpowered and imprisoned, escapes to thwart the Thanagarian scheme, with Batman heroically risking his life. As tensions rise, Hawkgirl’s loyalty is put on trial.

Don't disrespect arguably the greatest Green Lantern by calling him one of the most controversial UFC fighters in history.
@@RomaroBrandon Big fan of the John Stewart Green Lantern in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited- former Marine, willpower out of this world, constantly showed the JLers and others what he was made of. 💯
You mean Martian Manhunter??? (Jon Jones - UFC/ J'onn J'onzz - Martian Manhunter) 🤣🤣🤣
@lesdavis
Yeah, I was gonna cover this if you weren't already on it...
An understandable cross over mix up, given colour issues....
They're both green.

16:42 almost spat out my drink when I hear Alfred say that! 😂
did it come out of youre nose instead🤣🤣
Best line I’ve ever heard from Alfred!!
Speaking of Alfred, wasn't Bruce Wayne's disguise a nod to the late Alan Napier aka Alfred of the 1960s Batman tv series.
17:20 Batman : "Gentlemen, it's been an honor" ... what a great man, class to the end.
R.IP. Kevin Conroy, the greatest Batman of them all.
Alfred being the GOAT once again 😂😂
While Hawk Girl made some serious mistakes, she did redeem herself in the end. This proves that she would never had betrayed the Justice League team in the first place if she had known her people's true intentions sooner than she found out.
What about betraying the lantern ?
@@awdhut-e2e ain't no excuses gonna fix that mistake. She went from my top 2 league members to the most hated character in dc after knowing that she betrayed John like that
That series was ridiculously well written. Phenomenal cast.😅
The entire DCAU was amazing from Batman: TAS until the end of Unlimited!
Very good video. "Starcrossed" was one of the best Justice League episodes ever; I never saw the different twists and turns coming when I first watched it. However, I disagree with what the title of this video states - that the Justice League were forced to reveal their secret identities. They revealed them only to each other when they went into hiding per Batman/Bruce Wayne's plan, and he already knew who each of them was. Jon Stewart never really disguised as a Green Lantern (no mask), and neither did Wonder Woman/Princess Diana
ckick bait title for sure, but still a great ep and a good video
Well yeah because most GL's don't really care about a secret identity, Hal and Kyle get mocked for this by Kilowog, Tomar-Re and many others in the core because they think like John that it's stupid to wear a mask. That said John did wear a disguise of sunglasses to hide those ring-charged green eyes as a civilian.
For Wonder Woman? Well she does have a secret identity, she just wasn't using it at the time. It's Diana Prince(ss of Themyscira). Rank? Commander Medic in the US Navy, Lieutennant Medic in the Army and Air Force, also Personal Secretary and Doctor for Col./Admiral Steve Trevor.
I'm not a big comic guy, but the DCAU is legendary and I believe a great starting point for general audiences getting into super heroes. I read one-off comics, I'm not a die hard Marvel or DC nut.
Hawkgirl looks good with out her helmet on
Batman was right
Dating within the team alway lead to disaster
I wish he falls in love to 1'em
I’m still furious they cancelled this version …
It had run its course.
What is show/movie
@@Spaghetti_bandit132 Justice League.
This was an excellent series
The fact Alfred said shes always gonna be a hero to him is crazy!!
thats what i luv about batman, hes way ahead of everyone eles.!
Imagine messing around with the Kryptonians with their yellow sun by their side☠☠☠☠☠☠💀💀💀, all hell will break lose and Superman and Zod will make a good tag team
We see what happens of this with Kandor in LoSH s2 an unrelated series. Imperiex saw Superman backed up by future Kandorians after Brainiac 5 reversed time on their sun.
Imperiex and Lightning Lord (Mekt, brother of Lightning Lad and Light Lass) had an arguement about it and Imperiex just went "Do you think I want to attack with an army of Supermen raining down upon us?" That's just Mutually Assured Destruction.
If anything he better be glad Kell had better things to do that episode....I mean if you think a planet of Kryptonians with a rock allergy is a bad idea to face....try that plus the guy who's immune to it and can generate it from his fists.
Clark Kent is actually doing his job. The one that pays the rent.
I see what you did there
Batman and Superman best bros!
Ww absolutely whooped azz in this movie. Loved how barbaric she was depicted. Bravo, bravo 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
In one of the scenes - the Green L. is bald : D
Wicked editing 😂
Batman knowing everyone's secret-identity before they even reveal it. 😂
(and that's the least dangerous info in the files he keeps on each of them!)
Alfred a real one, took me out with that line 😩😂
And all this was on tv. Great stories
Ann advance intelligent alien race...still doesnt know that Clark Kent is Superman
Well in his defense...both he and Diana Prince use "rose colored glasses"
Great episodes.
16:45 DAMN, that was brutal!
Such good content 🤌🏾🔥
Thanks mate
The thing that always bothers me about situations like this is that The Flash and Superman could handle the entire group with their speed, but that never comes into play.
I like to nickname Hawkgirl as…
Madame Maybelline.
I love the JL series & this episode was my favorite episode
This episode where Shayera being engaged to Hro Talak becomes a plothole when they have the episode Shadow of the Hawk where she is presented as the reincarnated spouse of Carter Hall and that they both lived during the time of Ancient Egypt.
There's no plothole in either episode. Joseph Gardner was confirmed by Batman and Hawkwoman to be a delusional fanboy throughout the whole episode. Dwayne MacDuffie later confirmed on his blog post-airing...that Batman and Hawkwoman were right...starting with the lady...and past episodes also depict Hawkwoman in the right.
Proof: with a few exceptions the DCAU generally used silver age origins, Shayera's alien cop origin from 1964 was combined with Sharon's Hawkworld plot except Shayera gets to live...and I presume to better hide herself as a civillian Shayera didn't fully buy into the phonetically equivalent game and called herself Sharon Hall because Shiera Hall is just a dead giveaway like John Jones, the Alien Atlas. Joseph Gardner made up the reincarnation nonsense and changed his name to Carter Hall as a lame attempt at impressing Hawkwoman, even lost his respect as a famous archeologist for that...and defending Hawkwoman on the anti-Hawk boards and webrings let alone unaffiliated sites numbering in the thousands. Reincarnation of lovers? Yeah no....Mr. Gardner here failed at being Foxy because he was just an average Joe Kubert.
Why were there to different John’s Stewarts one with the mustache and one without?
Post Starcrossed, he shaved his head and grew a goatee
I can't believe I just realized that Hro Talak is an anagram for Katar Hol aka Silver Age Thanagarian Hawkman.
Why does every one from space want to come F with Earth? We ain't done nothing to NOBODY! Martians, Thanagarians. VIltrimites, Kryptonians, Skrulls, Kree, Chitauri, the Ananuki, the Visitors, the Harvesters, Planet Zero, frickin Pod people... Just leave us the hell alone!!!😡
Have you seen humans?!?
Undoubtedly, it's a
"Do unto others FIRST" kind of thing...
😂
Personally I blame Hollywood for these kind of storylines. All the alien stuff we come up with is exaggerated. I bet if aliens do exist, they don’t actually invade other worlds. I mean who’s to say any of them have advanced tech or have space ships?
@chuumon95
Fear of the unknown, or "the other," is a time honoured storyline staple...
And their ships are spectacular, especially the war ones.
👽✌️
@@chuumon95well their tech have to be "x" advance for us to even find or notice them. Hence part of the Ferimii paradox.
Most of the writers are human. And they're writing for a human audience.
Can anybody give the name of the muvie
Justice League 2001 TV Series
11:07 wally west i thought barry allen
Me too they changed the names two different flashes
Justice League and Unlimited shows used Wally West.
Barry Allen is his uncle I think
The show follows somewhat with the comic and at the time Barry Allen was “dead” and Wally west took over as the flash
Why does Hawkgirl gotta do my guy GL like that?
Alfred is the best
Hi❤❤❤❤❤😊
Dc Universe stupid because they didn't know Clark and superman is one in the same, do they have the same face.
Finally this episode is explained
WOW! Hawk Girl had a whole entire fiancee but was sleeping around with a guy on her job. So, even in the animated cartoons women can't be faithful to one man. Yet the world continues to believe the lie that men are the cheaters.
Yea 0:13
Holy shit she's not even real she's a comicbook character calm down.
One day you'll realize just how utterly duped you have been into this genderwars brainrot and then sit there still wondering why women and men stay needlessly divided in your head and you, also, stay alone.
Part of her duties as a Spy.
Under the circumstances, her fiancee wouldn't have considered it cheating.
@@carlflaherty2215 no Hro did consider it cheating, it's the B-plot of Starcrossed.
7:48 that crazy how hawk girl love Green Lantern and she just slapped him with her weapon
Women
Alfred best for comforting!
Funny how He past self cheated the past on Hawkman with John Stewart ancestor. I don't think I could forgive someone who is just betrayed me and my crew so blatantly. So it seems that John Stewart broke up with Vixen had their son Rex Stewart the War Hawk. If they so need help why didn't just ask them for it. RIP to the late great Kevin Conroy the best Batman. She leave on her own and stays with Doctor Faith.
Name of the movie please
Justice League TV Series
What season is this?
Season 2 Starcrossed
Martian hunter is blue because of the dark
Is it just me or Hawk Girl should have a movie?
U telling me superman can't kill them all ?
this Superman isn't that powerful. In a 1 on 1, sure he'd defeat all of them (pretty sure he's the strongest in this universe) but he can't just reverse-jump their entire army
I just watched the first season of justice league, and i always thought it was Barry Allen who was flash, but i guess i was wrong, cant believe it is Wally West
The vote at the end was as follows:
For hawkgirl to stay in the league: Flash, Martian Manhunter, Superman
Against hawkgirl staying in the league: Wonder Woman, Batman
Refrained from voting due to conflict of interest: Jon Stewart
It was obviously for though concerning John. Otherwise draw...because Superman was initially against...so throw it out and get this result.
Wally west? I thought Barry Allen ??
In animated series wally west is the flash
At that time in the comics Barry Allen was “dead” and Wally for the last 20 or so years was the flags
I watched the show on netflix!
I watched it on amazon prime
This was better than terrible trio am I right Kevin!
What's the movie name???
Justice League TV Series Starcrossed
I dont get it, sometimes Martian Manhunter has blue skin and sometimes he has green skin, what's going on here? Why does his skin color keep changing?
Because he's the Martian Manhunter!
How would Superman feel if he found Batman kissing wonder woman if he had feelings for her
Wait if he’s wally west where’s Artemis
Not in this universe...Wally has his canon comic love interest Linda Park in this universe.
Identities
Thanks for showing that man. Appreciate it.
Clark Kent, John Stewart, John Jones, Diana Prince, Wally West, Bruce Wayne.
Wally: Showoff.
Batman: (implied like you don't) change!
Am i the only one who thought it was Barry Allen?
Nope
They confirmed it on Superman: TAS via Kids' WB's website that Wally was always the singular Flash here...as if the lightning patterns on the suit were not already a clue in 1996.
11:07
Goal.
Since when can Wonder Woman fly ?
Since the beginning of TV Series. In Comics too she could.
In her original iteration she flew with an invisible jet. As time went on they just decided to grant her the power of flight. Fun fact: Originally Superman couldn’t fly either in the Golden Age of comics. He could leap sky skrapers in a single bound and jump great distances in one leap but he couldn’t fly. One of the original descriptions when introducing Superman: “He is faster than a speeding bullet and more powerful than a locomotive. He can leap tall buildings in a single bound. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s Superman!”
20:55 Who's the bearded bald guy dressed as Green Lantern?
The thing that always bothers me about situations like this is that The Flash and Superman could handle the entire group with their speed, but that never comes into play.
