It was about finding the origins of words earlier than the Oxford Dictionary via the public and getting them to change it. I really enjoyed it and bought the book

I used to go to Whale Chine with my Dad regularly. Walking down the rickety steps to the beach. Bumped into Leslie Crowther walking his dog in that layby, lovely bloke chatted for ages.

An enjoyable walk, if a little muddy, cool dude and Rowan. I'd bring back the TV show Pot Black, but... I'd only bring it back in the same black & white form we used to watch before we got a colour telly. It was a bit more of a complex watch trying to work out whether a light grey snooker ball was a better pot than a slightly darker grey snooker ball, especially for a five year old. Good for the brain. I liked the onion ring crown on your Royal burger, by the way. Nice touch, and almost certainly upped the price by 'quite a bit'.

I visited Yafford Mill many times as a child. My dad lived near there when he was a boy, and he told me that him and his mates used to get inside the water wheel while it was going round! Great fun, eh?!! 😱
Bring back The Secret Army tv series. Allo Allo was a spoof based on this but the original was cool. I think I loved a few very old series because of their theme tunes. Like Harry's Game! Meanwhile you could be more British, Cool Dude, when you described possible death by landslide as "moderately worrying"…! Rowan's pleasure at you swallowing a dandelion is infectious. Another great offering. CD #123 PS has to Google 'chine' to find out that it was.

Despite the second series not being as good as the first, I would like to see the brilliant conspiracy thriller Utopia brought back for a third series. Either that or maybe the BBC adaptation of the third Tripods book... I lifted a random rock to see if there was a snake under it on a walk in Provence about 15 years ago and there was! I'm fairly sure that it was a smooth snake. It didn't hang around long though. Nice one cool dudes

I remember watching the end of the Adventure Game on my fourth birthday and being confused and terrified.
I loved this one. It was near Brighstone where I lived with my grandparents while growing up. The scenery is lovely in May and so unspoiled.

I agree PobJoy would be the best of both programmes, although I did approve of Pob gobbing all over the camera.
