- Our first visit to find the abandoned railway tunnel at St Lawrence, an amazing piece of history that although needs a bit of care and respect is a wonderful place to explore and lose yourself as you stand inside and try to imagine it as a working railway. Apparently its not a right of way, but there are no signs until you go through and up the old track to a gate that says 'Private'...oops to late. I wonder who owns it and why? I've left a map to make it easier to find...good luck and treat the area with respect.
