Maintenance team at Barksdale Air Force Base Shows B-52 Readiness

Maintainers at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, showed their readiness to prepare a B-52H for a sortie on 15 December 2021. Barksdale is one of only two facilities where B-52s are home based.

I was a toddler when the B-52 hit the Air Force inventory. Now, I'm an old man and it STILL is the most beautiful, graceful large bomber ever to come down the pike. For the life of me, I've never understood WHY some numbskull airman came up with the acronym BUFF.
