We recently went back to the Garden Buffet at South Point on Monday, 8/22. The prime rib was just okay that night, not as tender and juicy as the night we shot this video. Everything else was pretty much the same. So if you go for the prime rib, your mileage may vary.
Lisa, I had the pleasure of meeting you yesterday and you were just as friendly & bubbly in person as you are in all your videos! 😇🤍 Meeting you made my day! I was completely starstruck! 🤩 lol! Thank you & Bill for all the hard work you put into each & every video! You guys are amazing! 🥰 Can’t wait to see where you guys go on your next adventure!! 💕
*Bill's shirt matches the back right wall @**7:00**.* My Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile cheap eats strategy is Earl of Sandwich by entrance, snack and drink at ABC Store, Earl of Sandwich other location, ABC store again, for dinner I just find an outlet and cook my Hungry Man frozen dinner on my George Foreman Grill.

Appreciate and fully enjoy watching you two make your way through Vegas. Watching especially for tips on best and economical places to dine. Coming from Hawaii, we are totally lost in the big city looking for a safe, decent place to eat. Sometimes it's very scary for us seniors. Thank you very much for your very informative videos!!! Aloha!!!
Our pleasure! We can understand that it can be overwhelming on where to stay and eat. Staying at the Cal in Downtown is a great option, smaller property so it's easy to navigate and not get lost. Also, has ono eating options. Main Street is just a short indoor walk with more gambling and has the Garden Court buffet. We have videos on all this, just let us know if you want the links to watch them. Aloha!
@@billandlisa Absolutely love to stay at the Cal, it’s our favorite and I get my luckiest play on the slots at Main Street! Hi Guys! This is Tan. Saw you guys at the miracle miles. We end up missing out Bacchanal buffet bc they required a reservation. So end up eating at ocean grill and Gen for two nights in a row. Gen was probably the best bang for our buck!
Hi Olivia .... Was there a line for Gen? I want to go there for one night but i am afraid there's a lot of people. Do you remember how long you waited in line? Thanks
@@mthoj We went on a weekdays. Our wait was about 45min for a group of 16. But for a small group of 4, i really didn’t see much of a wait. You can join the waitlist on yelp. For a big party u have go there to be on the waitlist
@@billandlisa Totally agree. we have been going there for the last 5 years now but never stayed there. have u?Maybe you guys should do a video about their restaurants, casino, rooms, etc?
@@billandlisa Makes sense. why spend money on a room when you can get a free room from other places? I think South Point has a very similar room layout to the Bloyd group such as the Orleans, etc since South Point was South Coast where it was part of that group.
Another great video guys! For once I've tried at least some of the places you talked about. I agree about Southpoint buffet, it is good for the price. Can't wait to go back to Vegas
When I lived in Vegas they had 99 cent breakfast. 😆.. They had steak n eggs with potatoes an coffee. I lived there for 25 yrs. I moved to Vegas in 1977. Don't miss it. It's too hot!
Alot of people know about "pay for lunch before the cutoff to get the dinner menu", heck, one time the cashier at our local Golden Corral was rushing customers to get in before dinner hours started! While there are sooooo many places to eat in Vegas not located in or around a casino, nowadays, you get what you pay for when going for the $4 or $5 specials, the quality is hit or miss. Thanks for trying out these places and giving your honest opinions!
Vegas is getting to the point where you can't enjoy the restaurants because they are too expensive! Heck, you can't even go to lunch at Yardbird now for less than $100! Josh and Rachel just spent $139 for a couple of sandwiches and 4 beers!
Great choices! I think a Starbucks coffee would be more than the price of the breakfast! Thank you for the pro tip at the South point buffet. It's always been a favorite, but certainly looking forward to the prime rib and the peanut butter gelato now 😋
But most people want a cup of coffee with their breakfast. And the cup of coffee costs as much as the breakfast itself. So in reality, it's really not a $5.00 breakfast, unless you want to drink tap water with it. That's how these places get you. They offer you 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon or sausage, and a few potatoes for $5.00, knowing that most people will order coffee or tea, or some other drink with that breakfast. So basically, the breakfast actually is now costing you $10.00 plus tax and tip, which is a good $15.00. Now ask yourself, is that breakfast really worth $15.00?
Thank you for this video Bill and Lisa! I really enjoyed it! With the prices of everything being so high it’s nice to know that you can go to Vegas and eat well and not break the bank! See you in the next one lol!🇨🇦

It’s a fairly new restaurant I don’t think there are many yelp reviews on it yet. Take care. 🙂
Thanks for the HB recommendation, Peace Kelly!
@@billandlisa I hope you like it if you decide to try it. The menu is very small. But the food is delicious and very authentic. The burrrata cheese plate with prosciutto was amazing.
Have tried all the cheap breakfast places in Miracle Mile and generally find La Salsa Cantina the best. The old Cheeseburger in Paradise hamburger place used to have a decent breakfast too but is long gone now.
La Salsa is my favorite too!
