    Brother, this is simply a remarkable display of control and accuracy with a truly heavy bow. Quite an inspiration to me in my quest to increase poundage. Also speaks volumes about the build quality and durability of the Bodnik built Shrew bows. Wow!

    First of yes the arrows it to light. But then consider that the bow handles such light arrows at that poundage without any damage is too me the most impressive thing here not the fps the poundage no the durability of shooting basically indoor target light arrows without any damage thats reallyyyyy impressive. It speaks to how well built theese bows are and it would be a dream come true to own one and show off too the Norwegian bow community

      Considering Ron LaClair was once the best longbow shooter in the world and this is the design he came up with after many many years of shooting and making bows, I have no doubt about it's performance. Granted, it's not going to be as forgiving as a longbow, but the extreme reflex deflex design gives you what is most likely the best bang for your buck in a short, traditional style bow. These bows are a thing of beauty, I hope to get one some day. I've always wanted a Shrew Bow.

My own draw length is also 31.5", so the average AMO 60" tends to exhibit some stacking at full draw, though each bow has its own temperment.. • @TheDayne
      @TheDayne 3 роки тому +3

      @@henrybodnik-archeryandadve2111 I have to disagree with that. After shooting Longbows for nearly 15 years, I can say that what makes a Longbow forgiving is primarily its length and its overall weight, combined with the hard to torque limbs. A 58-60" hybrid bow is pinchy, and a lot less stable than a 66-68" longbow with a heavier grip. Those are facts that you can not compensate, no matter how well crafted the bow is. The Shrew bows are speedy little shooters that have their niche: they are good in a hunting situation where you need a bow that is easy to maneuver, but they are far from optimal for target/3D Archery.
