- well, I did these a few months back where I take myself on some adventures and thought that this could be a fun little thing #thesinglediaries You can request things for me to do on my ones. This time we had a singles day in London, ate some food went to a gallery and just had an all round STONKIN time. Anyway, Love you loads hope you are excited and getting for CHRISTMASSSS

François de La Rochefoucauld once said "“People would never fall in love if they hadn't heard love talked about.” and I think that it's true and also I think it's the same for people who say "you're not happy if you'e single", those people have learned somewhere that you can't be happy if you're single but if the society didn't put this idea in their mind then maybe they'll think differently and see that in fact, yes you can be single and happy

I'm an old lady here of 33 and single. I flipping love it. I really enjoy doing things in my own time and doing what I want. I'm also introverted so to me it's like a dream to go see films alone, travel alone, go to museum's and bands alone. One day I'll be ready for another half, but for now, I'm good 😄😄

Yep. Learn to be happy and live your life as you want, and then a relationship would be the icing on the cake. I've seen too many of my friends jump from one relationship to another, and at every breakup they don't know what even define themselves - who they are, what hobbies they have, etc. They've let themselves, for their entire adult life, be defined by the relationships. I'm not saying I'm doing things right, being single at 34, but I feel genuinely happy having learned about myself during my single years.

Before I had kids I loved going and exploring places by myself! Every season of life can be a blessing and so fun, don’t rush it. Enjoy every moment you can and when you can’t take comfort that you are being shaped by it.

For the first Christmas in quite a few years, both of my young adult sons are single. We are looking forward to a lovely low key Christmas Day as a family of four. While it’s so hard to see your children go through the heartache of breakups, they will both happily admit that life is great spending time with friends, focussing on themselves and saving lots of money for future travels and other financial goals. From someone who married young (but waited a while to have kiddos) I have always encouraged my children to enjoy life, travel and experience things before they “settle down”. Thanks for brightening the world Grace. Merry Christmas 😊

Being single is a wonderful thing! It gives you time to really figure out who you are & what you’re looking to get out of a relationship when that time comes! I did everything I wanted in my life before getting married and having kids. I have no regrets in the way my life is going!

Ehh, I've been single for like 80% of my Christmases as an adult. It just doesn't bother me, or even enter in how much I enjoy this time of year.
I am 21 and I have been single my whole life too and - yes - sometimes it‘s sad and depressing, also because I‘m scared it might stay like this forever, but honestly who cares? I love London! I went for the first time in March and now I’m secretly planning how to relocate. I didn’t believe in love at first sight but then I went to London.
Love olive tapenade but I make it myself since it can be pricey depending on where you get it. Kalamata olives, olive oil, garlic, capers, parsley and lemon juice. Blitz in a food processor and done!

have you ever had arla's lactose free cheeses? I know I should get the message from my body when it's painfully rejecting dairy, but as a treat for christmas, the arla cheeses are great and lactose free means pain free! They even do a brie now.

Free Museum? I am jealous. Trying to do something fun that doesn't cost and arm , leg or kidney in my area is so hard to find. Don't get me started with Disney! The only reason we were able to go is because we knew someone who worked there so we got in free I am ready for Christmas. Bear's (My daughters' nickname) Christmas break is starting Monday and we are both ready.

I just found out that I am studying abroad for a month this summer in London and if you have any recommendations of things I should do or places to go please let me know! I’m from the US but I’ve been to London before and got to see the big touristy sights. I would love to see more of a different side of London and do things outside of the hot tourist spots. I love your vlogs and I have a few ideas of things to do but I would love to know more!
