Thanks for watching. It was fun to paint something a little different and a bigger scale (38mm I think). A unit or two of these guys lined up will look amazing on the table top especially with a Rakshasa Ravanar leading the charge! Hi Ducan, in your paint list it shows the primer as Colour Forge standard grey, when you actually used Zandri Dust from Citadel. Great tutorial as always.
As much as I appreciate Warhammer (im not a fan, but I do like some things) for introducing me to miniatures, war gaming and the greater hobby realm as whole, the way it is handled by a certain company makes me really happy that there are alternatives out there that offer something else, either unique or a re imagining of its universe. And I really hope more and more people will start venturing outside its realms to discover more diverse and people friendly alternatives. Thank you for contributing to this venturing. Oh, and Conquest looks absolutely awesome, Im saving to get myself an army, but I cant decide between a few, they look so awesome xD
That Argonaut - Kronos - Ares skin blend is perfect for my Egyptian-themed Chapter and my Iranian-themed Guard regiment! I've been faffing with adding Zandri Dust to Cadian Fleshtone and all sorts to get that 'Olive' skin look. Time to add some more paints to my collection. That model is also beautiful, love the paint job Dunc.
These look great! One of my favourite “minis” to paint and kitbash are Gaslands cars. My childhood home had HUNDREDS of die-cast cars that I loved growing up so it was a real joy to inject new life back into some of those cars I loved as a kid.
Love your paints and easy to follow tutorials! I'm painting my Sorcerer Kings now using Two Thin Coats - hope to see more of this army from you soon for inspiration!
Great video thanks for highlighting conquest and PBG. Love those guys. Would love to see your take on a tiger skin rakshasa. That would be a wild video
oh hell yeah, I think in the historical/fantasy landscape there's a distinct lack of stylish middle eastern/asian minis like this and i'm so glad this video is coming out rn to showcase these models because i've been eyeing this new Conquest range of minis pretty hard !
That is a very cool figure. And a SHOUT OUT to Sarissa Productions. i ordered a Wave 1 Paint Rack and a Wave 2 Rack and complete paint set late Sunday night and they got it to me in Washington State USA by noon on the following Wednesday. Sarissa did Two Thin Coates proud!
Amazing work as always! I hope you may consider painting a Djinn one day for this faction as they are quite different to anything I’ve ever painted before.
Would it be possibly to callout which wave the paints you are using for clarification? On the animation if nothing else like "Two Thin Coats wave 1/2/3"
could you show how to paint the entire army of them, there is no guide anywhere on the internet and I would like to start painting them with a nice effect (I am a beginner), also how to create this fire effect on ghouls, paradise and others...
Well this was 20 minutes well spent. I learned a lot from this. I was wondering how you would do the eyes. I had to buy a machinist lamp [a magnifying glass on a arm with a lamp] to do eyes and the whites are no problem its the pupil that's tough. One would be perfect but the other made the model look like he was special needs, lol. So I have to redo them a lot. Cheers.
It can be tough. First thing is a good quality brush that holds a fine point. Then paint the recess of the eye blavk. Once thats done, then paint two small white dots on either side of the center. You may have to readjust so that the model doesn't look squint. Oh, and patience lol
Really cool idea for a mini range, though feel like with this model (And a lot of Para Bellum's range), it always feels like they never actually tried to stand in these poses IRL before sculpting them, really awkward limb placement.
I like the minis but sadly am giving up on this game, as a total aside. The game won't grow at the FLGS and people are not buying things who play the game at that store. It's really a shame, I don't blame the store owner from no longer supporting the game and I'm going to auction off my minis. Probably too many competing games. The Conquest player base at that store is not being smart, either, they've become a cluster that isn't encouraging new people to jump in. If there's a non GW game without an encouraging community, marketing alone is going to roll over games like Conquest. Old World, and even AoS is eclipsing the thing near me .

Loving seeing non-GW mini content. More please.
Para bellum did amazing job with their miniatures
They sure did.
I like that you are exploring content outside Warhammer (like the conversiont too!) and show it how its done. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!
Yes!
commenting for engagement as i would like to see more Conquest content!
We have some plans :-)

There are so many amazing and talented companies and studios out there that deserve a look-see 👍
The army builder app is great and it's free

I love conquest. Hope we can see some Djinn and Efreet painted too! Or maybe even a Rakshasa.
Rakshasa looks great doesn't it?

South Asia is such an underutilized setting for inspiration for fantasy, wargaming etc.
Indeed, I wonder why it's not seen often in fantasy/wargame settings or even as miniatures
Para Bellum to the rescue!
Thanks for Conquest, this game deserves this video !
Conquest is really drawing my eye the bigger minis are very tempting for that amazing detail.
They are!
Love your paints and easy to follow tutorials! I'm painting my Sorcerer Kings now using Two Thin Coats - hope to see more of this army from you soon for inspiration!
Thats awesome!
Very nice advice, pooling together the base coats to wash at once.
I just want to say I LOVE your paints. Some of the best I ever bought.
Wow, thank you! Thats great to hear

Give them a go, you'll like them and they are getting better and better with every release
It's cool to see that Parabellum Games making tackling a faction inspired by Asian cultures with the Sorcerer Kings
That's a really nice sculpt. Enough detail to make it interesting and a realistic pose
Had my eye on Conquest for a while and waiting for the release of the 2 army starter with this army.
Great video!
I just bought the One Player Starter set for Sorcerer Kings so this is perfect timing. I absolutely love Conquest and Para Bellum Games!
Us too
Aw heck yeah! I actually just bought a unit of these so this'll be handy. 🤘
Nice 👍
Nice, could make the Kushan Empire from Berserk with these guys.
Wait till you see Old Dominion Hashashins!

Thats fantastic. They are really great at what they do
I really like the W'adrhun. Lizard People Orcs on Dinosaurs is right up my alley.
cool model, Conquest has some really nice models hope you'll do more in the future
We sure will. We have done quite a few over the last couple yaears over at the Academy
These are nice miniatures great job as always
Brilliant and as helpful as ever sir, thank you 🙏
Amazing job! Love your tutorials.👍🏽☺️
I would be happy to see more (additional) BattleTech color schemes. Gray Death Legion for example, houses, clans...
🎉😊
Amazing work as always! I hope you may consider painting a Djinn one day for this faction as they are quite different to anything I’ve ever painted before.
We may just...
Totally need to put my hand on this minis 😳 they look amazing
As always perfect job mate, even as a Grimdark painter, I learned something I can use , thanks 👌🤟
Thats awesome, and we always aim for someone to learn something :-)
Love Conquest !!!
Thank you , DRPA .
🐺Loupis Canis .
At 13:00 the model was already good for the table top.
Fantastic. Do you have any plans to paint anymore 100 Kingdoms in the future?
Would it be possibly to callout which wave the paints you are using for clarification? On the animation if nothing else like "Two Thin Coats wave 1/2/3"
I just wanna say, you are legend lol
I hope Duncan posts a mistake compilation to prove he isn't actually a robot incapable of human error. 🤣 Nice tutorial as always!!

What varnish did you use?

I saw Sorcerer King and immediately thought there were minis from Overlord that Duncan was painting… no such luck! But, cool video!
These are new Sorcerer Kings models, okay. The Rajakur soldier armour is unique in detail.
Great!
