Glad you enjoyed it - I too enjoy that, but sometimes people want me to fly it like I'm all alone...that's kinda boring to watch, but fun to do if it's just a solo flight, and no camera ;)

Brian, you might want to also suggest concurrent use of a rc flight simulator for brand new pilots to acquire the necessary muscle memory... This will hopefully avoiding the abligatory crash resulting from the combination of pilot's first soloing and maiden flight!!! "Just Saying..."

Edit: As I watch the seasons change on your videos, I'm noticing you've yet to exploit your hay pile for fun and profit. Align the bales in a long row 3 high perpendicular to the winds and you can slope soar without dam approval.

I got a buddy at the field, he says the same thing all the time. He'll bring out a plane that he hasn't flown in a while and say "I don't remember liking this plane this much." Lol

I'm actually very curious how you're going to be flying over your own property soon with remote iD on the horizon, did you guys get a FRIA exemption from the FAA to fly your own property, as silly and ridiculous as that sounds.
We have a 74 acre FRIA app ready to submit, but the idiots at the FAA are breaking their own rules and turning down EVEN AMA sites!!!! They need to get sued like YESTERDAY!
I bet this RID is gonna blow over in like say 5 minutes.
...but yes, we'll have to use the BS SkyID - which pisses me off to no extent. I can't say what I really think, or I'd retire someone with the swear jar.

So Brian, your thoughts on this FMS Fox versus the Tower Hobbies version of the ASW28? I mostly fly my Conscendo Advanced and Conscendo Evolution, but was thinking of getting something a bit bigger with flaps / full house. Also, with the NX10, shouldn't you be able to get crow through a mix, saving yourself a channel to adjust AS3X gains?
