Welcome to Egypt, buddy.. I just want to make some things clear over here.. First, The breakfast at the restaurant cost you 13 EGP (5 for the coke, 5 for the water, 3 for the beans sandwich) but the guy's English isn't that good, so he said accidentally 30 instead of 13.. you paid 50, so he brought you the change but you said that it's fine so he took it as a tip. That restaurant doesn't serve coffee, so the waiter went to another coffee shop to get you a cup of coffee, but he was late. Second, The coffee cost you 7 EGP( that's the common price for coffee with milk), you paid 20 so you can wait and take the change but you left, so they took it as a tip. Third, the store named ISIS has no relation to ISIS the terrorists. Fourth, The Shisha isn't illegal in general, but it is now because of the virus. Fifth, what you hear at every shop in the morning is the Holy Quran, it's not music at all. I hope you visit Egypt again sooner or later, but next time, you should have a local with you, every thing would be much easier. much love from Alexandria, Egypt ♥
Salute you bro. Just to make it clear to you and whoever watches this video; this youtuber is not honest. I'm from Saudi Arabia My father visited Egypt with his family when he was a kid 3 boys 3 girls and their mother and father and they've lost their luggage or it was late , One Egyptian man took them all to his home and allowed them to stay there without asking for any charge, They were basically treated like family They would eat all meals on the same table with the man and his family and sleep on their beds for around 15 days ! And the Egyptian man and his family and his neighbors were all absolutely happy that they have guests This is back in the 70s And my father is still talking about this Egyptian man and his genuine generosity . Bro, I was in Egypt in January 2016, loved every moment of it. The biggest problem in that country is the corruption of the government. The people of the country have a tremendous amount of dignity. Their street beggars will sell something to you, even if it’s paper tissue, instead of begging you for money. If the government wasn’t so corrupt, that nation would be far better off. Unfortunately, like all of our middle eastern countries, the government keeps the wealth among a few elites and ensures that the remainder of the public lives slightly above poverty or starving and uneducated to ensure they don’t rise up...soon...they will and things will change.
I’d love to go there. Breakfast reminds me a bit of when I went to turkey. They eat so much better out there than we do here in America. We wake up to sugar, they wake up to veggies. Man I bet that feels refreshing.

Kurt: “Jesus……………..Assalamualaikum”
😂
When you say "salamo alikom" it means may gods peace be upon you, and the replay is " wa rahmatoh wa barakatoh" means " and gods mercy and his blessings be upon you"
is alaykum salam not a proper response ? or is it an egytian dialect thing ,?

Thanks!
I’d love to go there. Breakfast reminds me a bit of when I went to turkey. They eat so much better out there than we do here in America. We wake up to sugar, they wake up to veggies. Man I bet that feels refreshing.
Yes, Turkey and Egypt have many things in common. I'm half Egyptian and half turkish.
Screw that. Give me eggs, bacon pancakes and hash browns lol

This was a bad behaviour to leave the coffee cup on the cabin in the street.
The dustbins is everywhere in this area, and if you compelled to leave the cup, you shouldn't film this behavior, right?
The Country looks dirty enough as is.One cup makes not a single difference

This comment was an advise not a punishment. I live in Cairo and Downtown streets are always clean by the way.
For you, Don't change your good manners when you see others don't have it. 🙂
Agreed. Lost a subscriber, although “one more” may not make a difference. Ass.

@@710jay7 not acting as if locals do, or don’t do anything. I’m referring to a single case, the one shown on the video. People such as yourself are the real problem. Continue embarrassing yourself, you’re doing a stand-up job.

What is the most traditional?
-Sandwich
bruh
the sandwiches are different
The most traditional is the thing in the sandwich not the sandwich itself but i think koshari is more traditional than beans or taamya cuz it is a main dish
bro, i paused and rested my eyes on my knuckles when that happened.. triggered me
23:02 ❤❤the best conversation ever ...his remains me the prophet Muhammad (SAW) says: قال لشباب يجلسون عالطرقات ، و قال لهم اعطوا الطريق حقه ، فقالوا ما من مجالسنا نبد فيها ، فقال الرسول أعطوا الطريق ،
فقالوا و ما حق الطريق ؟
فقال لهم: غض البصر ، و كف الأذي ، و رد السلام ، و الأمر بالمعروف و النهي عن المنكر .

Hey Kurt, loved watching the video. The man who said "Shisha no" meant that during the time of COVID-19 shisha is illegal on coffeeshops. 😄 The language barrier in general truly is problematic, though. 😄
