a few pointers: a) as others have commented: Safety glasses. Yes they are annoying, but way better than having something in your eye (especially easy with that dremel sander) b) tool stickout/mandrel stickout: especially in the beginning with those looooong stickout center drills you can see quite a wobble going on, then later when you start the boring - why so much stickout there as well? this is like 20mm deep at max yet you use some massive stickout... just shorten it up a bit, will help you with vibrations a lot. Also checking alignment of your tailstock with your spindle might be necessary, the tailstock seems to be a bit high. Same technically goes for the mandrel as well, reduce unnessessary stickout.. Love the video (and the ring obv) otherwise!
as someone who does silversmithing i can confirm silverdust in your eyes from a dremel sander is a unpleasent experiance and i wear goggles or a face sheild god help you if you get a shard of metal in the eyes
Hey where's your safety glasses I had a cut and wheel shatter couple weeks ago and it put a nice Chunk in my safety glasses just saying love your work keep it up and that two step polish I bought that stuff is the bomb cleans effortlessly
How does the anodising hold up over time on an everyday worn item such as a wedding band vs actually discolouring the titanium via heat? And would you see and issues with a wedding band that has been discoloured via heat?
I like this idea a lot! We’ve been wanting to make a dnd inspired ring for a long time and just haven’t been able to find anything we really like. But I do really like the idea of it being a fidget device!
That's really cool, but are the cut marks in the ring actually comfortable against your skin, or is wearing this going to scratch and irritate your other fingers?
Everything is polished till its super smooth. We just don't show all the sanding and polishing steps as they're quite repetitive. So everything ends up just as comfortable as any other ring you'd wear.
I don't know if it's just me, but it sounds like I heard of this scrypt before. It's exactly the same dialog, just a different voice narrating...weird.🤨Great work on the ring tho.😁
I’m so sorry to say that I did order from this website but I don’t receive until now international shipping and the customer service so bad and I have all the emails from them and they want me to order one more time and they will give me discounts 50% how and I don’t receive my first order first I don’t understand is been 2 months now
This company doesn't care about their customers. I have had possibly the worst experience that I have ever had with any company in my lifetime. I received my ring and it looked like it was made by a child. The craftsmen are outsourced, and obviously don't care about their work or product. I sent my custom ring back and have been waiting another 2 months for the replacement. Every time I even try to talk to "customer service" I am met with BS emails and lies. I've been told that my replacement would ship out "next week" like four weeks in a row now.
At a certain point you just have to not be an idiot. There aren't many other ways to shape and polish the inside of the ring. Fingertip is fine, if you are stupid and stick your whole finger in then maybe evolution is trying to fix the glitch.
@@PaulFulbright Definitely. Also need to remember that these are sped up 5-10x. We're very careful during the process, but once it gets sped up its hard to see
Wow that lathe work hurt to watch. What even is concentricity? And are you trying to win an award for the most tool stick out ever with a boring bar? Eesh.
What do you guys think we should name this ring?
I love it
@@alancalvillo6756 What would you name it?

I don’t wear rings very often and I don’t own any of your pieces but I love seeing the process and the finished product. Amazing stuff
So Colorful, cold, and shiny
Now that looks fantastic! I’ve been thinking of engraving one after anodizing. I hadn’t thought about the other way around like this!
This is my favorite piece that you've ever made! Congrats on making this piece extra special. I love it!!!
Stroke with file, don't saw. Cool ring!
That turned out great … and no glow powder! ❤
Nice ring brother 🙂👌🙂👌
I just love your work!

I wish Patrick would be in more videos.
This ring looks super cool! i like the colors
I love this ring. So Sick
Great work
Can you remould the scraps back into usable material?

I had a brass brush wheel fill my arm with brass bristles the other day I would hate to imagine what would happen to my eyes.
these are so satisfying to watch 😁
This one is GORGEOUS! :D
Excelente trabajo ✨️👍

Ring Idea! 😁
pinky rings or signet rings!!
We might have something coming up. . .. . 🤫
I once made something similar from brass
What do you guys do with all those cool shavings?
Could this be done exactly the same with gold?
Aluminum, aluminum alloys, magnesium, titanium and stainless steel can be anodized.
We couldn't anodize the gold, but we could do the same style of pattern
Great ring design. Love the colors. Idea, could you make "fidget" rings that are based off of dungeon dice? Like D20 to D6?

I want one how much?
They're on sale right now this weekend only in honor of the launch
I think you should engrave something in the middle of the ring
I don't think I've ever seen someone use a turning tool that looks so far off centre
The tantalizing titanium ring
I love me some alliteration

You guys are making rings for each month I have idea that you can make zodiac rings
We are actually working on zodiac themed rings right now! We are working on prototypes as I write this!
Great news

Great
I’m worried your gloves are gunna get caught in the lathe
"gonna speed up the process" x7

50$ for a kilo of Ti Grade 5. How does it get to 300$ price?
You guys talk about using a boring bar all the time. When are you going to use an exciting bar?
lol
Looks sharp. I see some bloody fingers and ripped clothes with whoever wears it. Cool though.
Can u give me a ring 😍
Please don't stick your finger in the rotating ring on the lathe as you do around 7 minutes. This can easily cost you a finger or harm you very badly.
