Ok that's so emotionnal... I had the exact same problem sometimes ago, I was physically unable to do my craft (I'm absoluty no musician) so what did I do do to overcome that was expand my knowledge in my field, exploring everything that was in my my field, even the things I was really disliked, just by curiosity, and trying to found only one thing I like in it , if I find it, then it was not a waste of time, and it's really rare to not find just one thing (it has to be really bad ^^). Other thing, I had 1hand still working, by chance the writing one, so I wrote a lot in those times, if it's your writing hands who's injured, use audio recording and speech to text software. Again I no musician so don't know anything about tabs... but feel this moment as a rest where you expand your curiosity and knowledge as must as possible, then when your injured is over, you'll had a lot of material you could work with that you can't imagined (oh and read a lot of whatever you like). So finally, for your start to expand your horizons, I just recommand you something that's totally out of your metal field for once, but that really touch me in my dark times, so maybe you'll like it, who knows, there's an awesome jazzmaster fenrder guitarist in it (high chance of youtube block btw so just watch it for your own :) ) so it's : " みゆな - 夢でも【LIVE映像】 " and then if you liked it : " みゆな - 神様, ふわふわ, 埋葬【LIVE映像】" to search on youtube. Thank you very much for the support! As you said, this is a really good opportunity to take a look at the other thing related to the playing music. Now I've been taking a look at the current process of my upcoming EP and how to produce it. Now is a really good chance to discover new music and take influences from there as well.
