I think the neck profile is really nice on the PRS 7 string and close to the Universe which is a bit thinner but I find it a bit challenging to set up the guitar perfectly for myself because of the longer scale length. If possible, I would recommend testing that guitar in a store to see if the guitar fits to your hands well.

Sure! I kept the lead guitar sound really simple. Just a good distortion sound combined with delay and reverb. If you use an amp, I recommend setting thedse effects on the FX loop.

Thanks! Yeah, I see what you did there! I think the string tension is also quite a personal thing as well when it comes down to playing the instrument easier way as well. I think I need to find or make a custom set that is like 9-46 set with lowest string having 62 or 64. I've been using 64 on the lowest string on my PRS Tremonti model (25.5" scale) around drop B tuning and now with your comment it makes sense to try that too.

Thanks a lot! I didn't find notes about what I used but as far as what I remember I just went with PRS MT15 amp profile and had an octaver in front of the distorted amp channel. Some kind of distorted sound with a bit of fuzz or octafuzz would work really fine as well if you want to get closer to the original guitar sound.

Kitos my friend! Is that a real amp or a simulator? I have a spark 40, a nux mg30 I havent opened yet and a Fender Mustang MTX 50( modeling amp)- just trying to figure out the amp u refered to…basically just trying to see if the amp u referred to has any simularities found to the amp models I have

Yeah. I think this guitar may divide people a bit. I feel that this guitar gave me a better understanding of extended range guitars and what specs I really want to use. Also, I'm still working on setting up this guitar towards my preferences but I think I'm quite close. Now it's just about setting up the action in a way I like it.

Yeah, both bridges (the floyd and strat style) bend both ways. The strat style bridge just moves a bit less upwards based on how I've adjusted the bridge. If I remember correctly, Dave Weiner in Steve Vai's band also used bridge like this to play "The Attitude Song" during one of the tours.

@ The Strat bridge though only moves one way by default. To move it both ways it has to be customised. Am I right?
