- 【Synopsis】
While troubled by the demon whispering inside his head, Ikki Igarashi, the heir to a bathhouse run by his parents, lived a normal life. On the promotion ceremony of Ikki’s brother, Daiji, who works under a specialized service agency called Fenix and will become a section commander, Ikki and other people were attacked by a Satanist group called Deadmans. To protect his family, Ikki put on Revice Driver and transformed into a Kamen Rider. He released the demon inside him (who will identify itself as Vice later) and wiped out his enemies. Vistamps can summon demons, and a battle over these mysterious stamps has begun.
Reminder to those that don’t know or forgot. The guy the Deadmans captured for the Mammoth monster is Minoru Suzuki. A legendary fighter in NJPW and MMA. There’s a reason fans call him “Murder Grandpa”.

It's great to see an episode from the currently running KR show get added for worldwide consuption! Hopefully in the future full seasons of Kamen Rider can be made available for streaming outside Japan.
50 years of Kamen Rider, and they finally have one whose whole shtick is dinosaurs. So many great references to the series. It all starting in 1971, the twin Riders as the main characters, Vice bringing the scarf back, etc. I would buy the whole series if I could.

For those who don't know, the criminal who was captured by the Deadmen is none other than the legendary fighter and wrestler Minoru Suzuki!
I always thought the face that Ikki's mother made once he henshin to Revi was odd but knowing the whole family's story I finally see why.

Getting kind of tired of them only having subtitles on the first one or two episodes. They should do what Ultraman does, and release one episode a week, then private the older episode. Then eventually sell us the entire series in the USA on Blu Ray or DVD.

@@chaosenforcerdhm969 Why? Hasbro doesn't own Super Sentai internationally. In fact there's not even a registered trademark for Super Sentai in the US. Contrast Kamen Rider, The Masked Rider Kamen Rider ZO (the Sega Saturn "game" with an English dub of ZO, (there's also a filing for toys I doubt was even used) needless to say, these two filings have expired) "Black Kamen Rider Black Sun" and Fuuto PI which are all registered by "TOEI KABUSHIKI KAISHA" (Toei Co LTD in romanized Japanese) in USA. "Black Kamen Rider Black Sun" is also registered in Australia it seems.

I know this probably won't happen but PLEASE PLEASE can we get more than 2 episodes of this series, I want to have a legal way to watch this and more rider series like geats as they air.
Tokushoutsu is a legal way to watch ryuki zero one kugga Kamen rider
right and those shows are great. but I'm saying we need more. Tokushoutsu needs to come to better agreement with toei and the other parties involved so we can get more rider series here in the west. I mean toei missed out on having some great cross promotion of Fuuto P.I. by not reaching a streaming/physical deal. Granted it is not necessary to watch W in order to enjoy FUUTO P.I. or so I hear. But my point still stands. Especially because W's first episode has around 1 million views on this channel.

This show as we head into the final two episodes is completely indistinguishable from the first episode. Look at how our protagonist are set up with their respective arcs. Ikki defending his family at all costs, Daiji not having what it takes to be able to transform being set up to overcome it, Sakura being able to hold her own despite no driver in sight, how fun and charming Genta & Yukimi are, George in general, the villains looking cool and badass, a theme song that slaps. Everything was there to have a season worthy of 50 years of this franchise. But yet we lost that as it progressed. For fuck sakes Minoru Suzuki made a cameo. That is the definition of hard. I by no means think this is a bad season. But it could've been way more than it actually is. Of course one would be excited for Geats, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't miss these loveables goofballs. Also, that thumbnail though (OG thumbnail)
As much fun & amazing this first episode was, it makes me really sad coming back with the reality that the show began to loaf around sometime after episode 25, which is literally halfway through. It really was a beautiful beginning to what I thought what would be one of (if not) the best Reiwa season thus & one of the bests seasons in general.
Even though I’m waiting for Geats at this point, I’m gonna miss this cast, especially Genta, Yukimi & Sakura.
George beings villain by free will all because he didn’t got over his father’s death, literally has his dad’s demons of and the events the movies is kinda not a good excuse.

Agreed. I too feel this is NOT a bad season, as even in the second half, there's still things to enjoy. However, I do feel that once Giff, the Big Bad, was revived, this season started to lose steam and it felt like the writers weren't sure what they wanted to do now. Took on more of a "situation of the week" vibe with the following few episodes before remembering it had some sort of plot going on. It's at this point I started to lose interest, kinda sorta.
Heck, even the final four episodes felt kinda off.
It took them one YEAR to FINALLY get the first two episodes of Revice on UA-cam! Sweet Christmas! (Yes that's Japan's wrestling legend Minoru Suzuki at 7:53-8:32)

The 50th Rider, Kamen Rider Revice. They’re the ultimate duo who can take on the Deadmans. They fought every battle, a dark secret and twist from their parent’s past that are connected to the Deadman’s and other incidents are revealed. Revice will always help others with their Stamp to save the day.
But he's not the 50th Rider.
There's more than 50.
Many seasons have multiple riders in them. And that's not counting movies, specials, spinoffs...

Knowing what we know now this entire episode hits different. There's so many layers of plot this episode didn't even hint at. From the Fenix Director to Mama-Sans reaction to Vice . Revice had alot of fuck ups but there was a lot of interesting plot twists.

@@jf4132 I don't think revice was really that bad but there is one little thing that they dragged out a bit too long in my opinion but I'm not going to spoil it. It feels like the story they wrote wasn't long enough for the amount of episodes toei wanted, so they had to really stretch to fill more episodes. You'll see what I mean later

You have a massive audience outside of Japan that you are pushing away with this behavior.
So when this series first started , I didn’t think I would like it , and now since I bought the compete series dvd , here I am almost at the end of the series and I’m trying to hold back the tears. I won’t give any spoilers , but if anyone can honestly watch this to the end and not shed any tears , you are not human. All those that have already watched it , you know what I’m talking about. And I really did like this series. Just as much as Zi-O and W , definitely better than Saber , but I also liked that one as well. Zero One is better than all of those , except Zi-O , in my opinion. But this was definitely surprisingly better than I could ever imagine.

I love how Vice is the embodiment of Ikki's former self.
Vice is a little selfish, joking, a little eccentreic, but overall a good person deep down with small and later hugenbouts of heroism.
Having a big brother Kamen rider hit hard for me. Being an older brother myself, I really liked this.

You are wrong, as Zero One, Episode 1, “I Am The President, And, A Kamen Rider.”, is still available here. Or, are you talking about the removal of their English subtitles, because, they were mistimed, and, Toei Company, for whatever reason, I do not know why, exactly, though, they did so, did not replace their translations with @Shout! Factory’s official translations, or, a mix of their’s, and, TV Japan’s translations, with their on screen kinetic subtitles.

At 21:04 - A bit of an audio error mistranslation here, I believe. What Vice says here is "ジャキン", pronounced "shakin", and is an onomatopoeia for the shine that happens during the zoom. Instead, it seems like they heard him say "先 にいけ", pronounced "sake ni ike", meaning "I'll go first".

Unfortunately, Toei is more strict on Kamen Rider and Super Sentai releasing in the US compared to other series such as Ultraman. The only instances where we get more than two episodes is for Blu-Ray/DVD releases from TokuSHOUTsu or Team Kamen Rider.
