I know I've mentioned it before (and by this point it may be too late anyways), but I recently watched another LPer get spoiled by the Black Emporium DLC and it sucked. So I feel the need to warn you one more time to just avoid anything to do with TBE, like don't even *look* at it, at least until you've completed a quest called "In Your Heart Shall Burn". It'd be such a shame if you got such a big part of the game ruined for you.
Ser Landry is the Knight who accuses you of being a Warden and a traitor in the City Market. You can convince him he's mistaken or later end up fighting him in the alley ways of Denerim.
Yeah took a little to track it down but roughly 1:51:00 of Ep.15 Mapo Intimidated him to walk away. It was right as all the Denerim glitching started happening.
The personal footage with the recap narration is so good, definitely a more engaging way to get into Mapo's story so far. I can't wait for the first episode on Friday!
My favorite part was when Varric was narrating DA2 and its gets to the "but there was one man that stood amist the chaos" and it immediately cuts to Hawke's dramatic "I DIED AT CHATEAU HAINE!" Clip. The Champion of Kirkwall everybody.
Man, I can't believe you went ahead and edited clips from your first 2 playthroughs to "combine it" with Varric's narration from Dragon Age Keep. I honestly say that's going above and beyond for this and I think it's a really cool idea. First time I've seen it done anyway, so just great job with that dude! Btw, I go on holiday for like 2 weeks and you finally start DAI :O. Have some catching up to do. Enjoy the game man!
Aww, I like how you weaved in your own gameplay footage with Varric's narration, makes it more personalized and more interesting to watch. Also, weirdly enough, nostalgic, I suppose. (weirdly because it hasn't actually been so long to have nostalgia but the feeling is there, if that makes sense :P) About the Isabela romance, I wanted to say something about it at the end of the DA2 LP but didn't want it to be spoilery or backseaty. The romance with her will always be more free and open, you both do your own thing without feeling locked in place with each other but you still have strong feeling for one another. I think in terms of flag setting in the game, you didn't fully romance her though because, if I recall correctly, you need to give her a gift in Act 3 that you buy from the merchant in the alley underneath the Docks (there's a sewer entrance close to the entrance/exit into the zone) but you didn't really go there during Act 3. Best of luck in DAI!
What you said about Mapo Hawke and Isabella makes sense. I also like the Dalish guy and Gleyna retcon. Marrying Alistair or Anora is only possible if you're a human noble and the opposite gender to them.

You went to their house. He was hiding in the wardrobe, but you didn’t find him, so he likely got murdered by undead, LOL
Yeah, same - I liked it when it first released but was a bit ambivalent; returned to it during COVID lockdown and was blown away by how good it was - I honestly think it's the best BioWare game (since the very early Baldur's Gate days at least, those aren't really comparable). The epilogue DLC certainly helped a lot making the game feel like a coherent whole, but even then, it's such a cohesive, well thought-out game where every element has greater thematic meaning, that the real depth of the writing only sinks into you after a long while.
@@samdubois8007 Absolutely! I think I didn't quite appreciate how well they hit that delicate balance of open world with story and consequences. The game mechanics were interesting and fun to use. can wait the inevitable dwarf playthrough in DAI... hopefully he is gonna be a jerk dwarf :D at least some time :D :D
I love this..I watched all DAO and Da2 playthrough except the end of origins because I can't stand Anora, plus another reason that you will see:) Bevin was the little boy that you were asked to find in redcliff.
It infuriates me to no end that this is all attached to a website that could go down instead of actually being in game.
