- Hi!! I hope you enjoyed this chatty video, just a bit of a trigger warning for anyone needed that obviously I am talking about weight loss and similar topics in this video!!
P.s. I’ve lost 168lbs not 170lbs, but for the sake of making the title look a bit nicer I’ll just round it up hahaha

I don’t know you at all but I am so happy for you! I currently am not in a good place weight wise and I tend to blame it on the fact that I’ve had two kids. And a huge factor of my current weight is that, don’t get me wrong but it’s also the choices I make in how much I eat and how much I move my body and take care of it. I’m a SAHM so I don’t go many places and I make excuses for myself for not getting my kids out somewhere and be active. I keep telling myself I need to do better but I’m just so afraid I will fail. I once was a lot smaller and even then I thought I was heavy and overweight. Looking back at pictures from before I had my kids is really hard because I realize I really wasn’t and I miss that old me. Thank you for sharing some of your pros and cons and being a bit open about your journey! I’m hoping some time soon I’ll be on my own weight loss path and can get to where I want to be. Cheers to you for the hard work you put into yourself and being healthy!
Could you tell me how you lost weight? I’ve been housebound for 2 n a half years. Because of my illness I can’t exercise. I’m contemplating doing the fasting diet. Did you do that? X x
I ate orange juice, one egg, one piece of toast. Then starved at school. I was 17. Then ate very little for dinner. Like salad or soup (mostly vegetable) and a sandwich. (Mostly turkey.) I sat in the car when my parents would eat out. I went because we’d go to the mall and walk. (You could look at stuff, it didn’t feel like exercise.) I lost it in about six months. I wanted a nice senior picture. I went bed very hungry, sometimes I was so hungry I would cry. I’d never do that again. I went to Weight Watchers lost 25 lbs just before COVID hit, and during the pandemic I’m a switchboard operator at a hospital. I gained it all back. I’m sure a lot of people did. Everyone has a different life, everyone has a different weight loss story.
Please don't be too hard on yourself especially if you've just had kids! Honestly little changes slow and steady is best because you're more likely to stick to it. Its so tough to actually get out of the house but maybe start by taking the kids on a walk to the park or even just doing fun things like little 10 minute dance parties! Even cleaning and hoovering etc is being active! I believe in you!
It's so tough when you feel stuck in the house! Personally I wouldn't recomend fasting, I think it is much better to become more in tune with your hunger & fullness cues and only eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full. Focus on little changes like drinking more water, getting plenty of sleep and doing a gradual calorie deficit xx
I'm so sorry you went through that!
Hey Zpoppy ! Your very beautiful! Inside and out I’m sure. Any guy would be so blessed to have you in his life!
This is such a brilliant video, I feel like all of your “before” thoughts are my current thoughts. I know you don’t want to do tonnes of weight loss videos but your video is soo different from all the others I’ve watched, this is soo relatable and honest ! Thanks so much for uploading ❤
Omg this is such a nice comment thank you so much!!!
Thanks for sharing your experience after a large weight loss. I could definitely relate, having lost 140 lbs in my 20’s. I kept it off for several years and then at some point I started slowly gaining it back. It was a small amount at first and it seemed easy to lose it, but somehow the lax approach continued and I gained about half of it back over time. I think if I had kept vigilant about weighing myself it would have helped, or some sort of accountability. No need to fear it though! It was actually really easy to maintain for a few years, it was getting lax about it down the road that was the issue. And enjoy the clothes! I loved that part too.
Thank you for your comment!
I lost 62 lbs in six months and I thought that was a big deal. Very good for you! 👏 I also have the same fear as you regarding gaining it all back. That was back in 2019 so thankfully I have not gained it back and have maintained my normal weight. Funny how people who never said anything about my weight prior to losing now say I am too skinny and need to eat. I eat just fine and have maintained a healthy waist to height ratio of under .5 (waist divided by height) since 2019.
That is so true! and well done too!!
I really enjoyed this video and think a lot of people who’ve lost a large amount of weight can relate. Also, kitties and coffee are my two favorite things. I’ve lost 154 pounds and have a little more to go so I’m still working on it. I’ve noticed that I constantly touch my collarbones. It’s just crazy to me bc before I couldn’t feel them before. Everything is better really but I do miss my booty cushion sometimes. 😂😂 Congrats on such a massive accomplishment!!
I'm so glad people can relate to this content! You've done amazing well done!!!
This was a definitely a very interesting video. Congratulations on the weightloss, it takes a lot of dedication and discipline to lose as much as you did and I'm happy to hear you feel better. So long as you eat healthy the majority of the time and not overeat day after day you shouldn't worry about gaining weight, I've been maintaining my weightloss for 8 years now. It's a lifestyle change more than anything really. And as someone who is about 9 stone or 125 lbs, I can feel my hip bones and rib cage as I'm sitting. I'm saying this so you don't feel alarmed by it, it's normal.
Thank you this is so reassuring!
I am new to your channel. You are so inspired me get to back to my goal weight.
You can do it!
Hi. I’m a 67 and in Ohio. I really enjoyed your video. I once lost 40 lbs. I discovered my hip bones. I kept it off for five years. I regained it and more. My spouse discovered he had cancer and I ate everything in sight. I unfortunately never lost it again. Although everyday I haven’t. You thoughts are valid. I had those same thoughts everyday. I haven’t quit trying. It’s physical, but also every bit mental as well. Yesterday was a “good” day. I hope today is as well. Keep talking. It’s encouraging to me.
I wish you all the best!!
Grwat video!!! Sorry if this is too personal, but did your bust size reduce, too? I worry about that alot
I think it definitely did!
Such a good video, thank you for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
Side note kinda off topic and I'm Just beginning the video but for anyone in the comments contemplating weight loss surgery I had it (gastric bypass) and I hate it. It's been 10 years and worst decision ever.
17:25 why didn’t u just resize ur rings?
I learned when I lost weight that they can only size them down a certain amount without compromising the integrity of the rings. I wore mine on a necklace until we could afford a new wedding band 😊
I think you can only resize them by a couple of sizes, especially with the type of band i had on my rings
You look good
thank you!
How many cats do you have??😊
Just 2!
“I’m going to film a video about my massive weight loss but I’m not going to tell you how much I weighed, what I ate, or what I did to lose the weight.” Right, that makes complete sense.
Because the video is about what changed in her life, and not about what she did to get to that point.
exactly! haha, thank you!
the video is about things that changed when i lost weight, not how i lost weight!
I come across your video I think it's great you lost $170 lb I will tell you I used to weigh 2045 pounds it took me 8 years now I weigh 142 lb I did it cuz I had diabetes like my wife did she had it since she was in high school and her senior year and she went on his up and down diets clear lake high School sweethearts we're together quite a few years and she had passed away got sick she had heart disease from it inner shakers are always at I can try I try to help her with her weight I got her down to 200 lb she did weigh 265 lb but it was so hard for her to do it and then when she got sick she got pneumonia and she got covid-19 in 2020 she passed away in March that year sure do miss her and after she passed away I got sick from the covid-19 but I made it through but now I come across your channel it's not so lonely are you from England or Australia your accent I have another friend on UA-cam video she's from Australia 🦘 you probably feel better without that weight on you like me I can breathe better you probably have more energy oh yeah I want my wife wait a lot when she used to do the gardening I'd have to help hercuz she get down on the ground and then I'd have to help her up but when she lost a lot of weight she could do it herself you keep up the good work I love you UA-cam video from Terry
