PWS designed and builds the BRN-180 upper for Brownells. I built my first AR pistol with the BRN-180S 10.5" upper last year. I liked it so much, I bought the 16" & 18.5" Gen.1 upper versions too. If you don't know what the BRN-180 is, it is close clone upper of the AR-180. Redesigned slightly to fit on a Mil-Spec AR-15 lower. PWS did a great job on it to. The fit and finish are very well done. Thank You, for bringing it to the gun market. I always wanted a AR-180. Now I have three! Four big advantages the BRN-180 has over a AR-15 upper: 1.)Designed as a gas-piston action from the beginning. 2.)Bufferless with recoil springs contained in the upper itself. 3.)Has few parts and lighter weight than AR-15 upper. 4.)Easier to field-strip and detail clean.
Thank you and welcome. We take a different approach to guntubing: we're journalists looking to help people understand guns and related accessories rather than personalities trying to make a buck. Teya and I both maintain real jobs to handle the bills :)
Great video. I can’t wait to see the rest of this conversation with them. very interesting to see how they got started and moved from one thing to another.
Yes. ZEISS makes one. Table is granite and floats on a thin layer of air. The tip of the probe is made of the gem ruby. Either way, it's a very nice piece of equipment.
Firearms engineering , research and development , testing till you achieve. Big investment on equipment to make the firearms . Modern cnc programs to learn. Waiting for part two and want to see production run and toolings.
Don't you just hate looking back at surplus decisions. When I bought my K31 (which I love) I could have bought an SVT-40. At the time I had no idea how much harder it would be to find another SVT

Off to a good start, great info, and looking forward to part 2!
I own two pws rifles there the best rifle I have ever bought love these guns.
Never enough PWS videos 👍 Was that a ZEI$$ machine in the intro?
That machine was checking specs, several points even in pin holes. PWS takes it seriously!

Some of that will be in the article, but I do my best to preserve indistry secrets as well
@@GBGuns I understand. Of course they will not show it.
Cool. I got their CQB muzzle device and ratcheting receiver castle nut. Neat stuff.
That buffer tube and castle nut combo is awesome.
cool, great video.
Interesting. They make some quality gear.
Very informative. Thanks again. 👍☕😎
PWS and POF are 2 of the most innovative companies in the game
Interesting stories. I would be interested in watching the rest if you have it.
We do, it'll be out soon.

Ya posilayu eto zamechanie PWS. :)
@@GBGuns одобряю Грэм! PWS = Зверь иного рода 👍
You guys should totally sell a kit that people can convert there do gun to long strike pws piston system
We don't sell anything.
Had a Hakim some time back. That had a strange recoil impulse.
That's based on the AG-42, the first DI military rifle. A very cool gun. There was one on their wall.
@@GBGuns I saw that. Was a time when I thought I should have a Lgungmann to accompany my M38 and cg-53 Swedes also. Stars just didn't align.

What happens when u wear the rifling out on a pws piston upper do u sell barrels or do u sell the piston system itself
It would take tens of thousands of rounds to find out
Quit making stuff for Brownells and start making uppers again. And I’m still waiting on a new lighter Mod 216.
All aside, big Pws fan !
