Our goal is to get the potato to run Beamng drive. This is pt.1 of many. Edit: THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH THIS VIDEO IS DOING AMAZING!!! I try hard on all my videos and my others are way better😊
Here are few points that I would like to suggest you guys: 1. You should REALLY install an adblocker like Ublock Origin from the webstore. 2. Next time use Balena Etcher instead of rufus it really have better UI and all. 3. I don't think you want to use Windows anymore on that machine so delete it's partition. That's All. Lesss gooooooo 🔥🔥
I found this video randomly at 2 AM and it gave me so much joy... I love to see that you guys are so persistent and having a good time figuring out the process. The good vibe of that ubuntu installing hangout really went trough! If you keep the postitive attitude and patience, you will get comfortable with linux, the terminal and BIOS in no time! Can't wait for the next part :>
@@owenwexler7214 Thank you! To continue the journey I need money to improve the hardware stuff so when I get enough money ($150) I'll make another video!
Lenovo uses enter for the options menu and f12 for the boot menu 👍 Also for linux iso's use belana etcher to flash to a usb drive as rufus isn't the best for linux, also if the laptop has a hard drive (spinning disk) it would make it slower, getting faster storage (i.e; An SSD) it would be faster. Good choice for distro/flavor its a good computer newbie/linux newbie operating system 👍 If you need any help im more than happy! Cheers!
just so you remember theres a little thang on the left of the laptop near the charger plug, press it with a pen or somethin and you can go into the bios quicker
@HamzaHassan-q5m For another review I'm either gonna try to get the back off to figure out the ram and stuff. Or I'm gonna save up money so I can afford better ram and stuff and install in the same video. also I'll make videos along the way trying to run stuff on it
@@rosed4878 Thank you so much! I've always wanted to be a UA-camr and been trying since I was like 7. Now my dad and family is struggling and I found the right content for me so I decided to start the grind🫡
@@JunkBox_Productions there is a guide that tells you more or less exactly what to do. You can also just connect the laptop to ethernet, type archinstall, go down the list and it'll install it
