Piatti Project #9/12: Diezig plays Caprice No. 9

- This caprice took me longer than I thought. It's very short but really tricky because it's essentially a long sequence of quick doublestop changes. I believe the important things are to play it with a nice spiccato and to really respect the indicated dynamics. There is no need to play it at lightning fast speed however since this caprice in particular can sound totally meaninglessly if the listener gets the impression that it's only about technique and no effort is being made to play it musically plus you need to have some reserve for the final tempo acceleration.

The best version I've eve heard! Congratulations!
The best version of Piatti nº9 !!
Nice, musical playing! I like what you do with it. I'm going to give this one a try this summer, since there's not a whole lot else going on!
soooo good it's really a enjoyment
Almost there! I've been following this for a long time, please keep it up.
Basso Continuo I will continue, thanks for following this project.
Very good job man! Like it, that you don't play it senseless fast :)
thank you
Hahahaha I find there's a cat... sooo cute
1:18 Die Katze fühlt's auch. :-)
Wich strings do you use?
This time I play on a set of Larsen Magnacore strings. They work well.
But usually I play A and D Larsen medium soloist and G and C Spirocore Tungsten Medium which I like a lot.
Have you ever tried a set of Evah Piazzi Gold? By the way, I really like your Piatti Project! It's actually helping me to study all of them. Thank you:)
I am glad these recordings are useful for you and no, I haven't tried Pirazzi Gold.
