My favourite Weller song, and I've followed the MAN since 77...coolest dude on the planet.

After spending 7 years chasing a soul sound with mixed success with the Style Council, the first solo album nailed it. He has produced albums of greater variety & tones but this track & the album it comes from have the coolest groove of his whole career. I have always called it a perfect summer album.
From his first solo album, the eponymous "Paul Weller"-a true underrated treasure, and in my opinion the perfect distillation of his Jam and Style Council strands.
I saw him in Philadelphia once. INCREDIBLE!!! My mom got me into him The Jam is my favorite though lol
Welled is a phenomenal guitarist. This whole album is epic.

I loved him at his The Jam times. After he ended The Jam he is only a guy that makes elevator music. The Jam was the best Brit band. Raw Music, intelligent lyrics and the heart on the right side. The he went rich and he can't be the guy with a very little money and a takeaway curry. Take an ear and see him playing guitar at 'Going Underground', 'That's Entertainment' or the other bunch of songs by The Jam.
