James’s beastly roar at the beginning would make lions fear for there life
One of the most suspenseful live musical pauses ever.
😮
So much bass... Just how it should have been on the album.
I will honestly never know the reasoning behind why they did that!! It honestly ruined the whole album IMO because none of the songs reached their full potential due to the lack of bass :(
Caleb Bartlett
Fortunately for us, there is always "...And Justice for Jason" to listen to.
+voripeter Hell Yeah!!
and justice for jason has a horrible mix, look for a remix or a remaster for a real mix with bass
voripeter the reason by what the worker at the studio said is that lars wanted the drums to be louder and the studio worker said theyre just fine so lars demanded he lower the bass sound to just about nothing, he shouldnt of switched rooms with cliff burton that night 😂
On guitar and vocals: James Viking Hetfield
On Drums: Jesus Ulrich
Lead Guitar: Porn start mustache Hammet
Bass Guitar: Cancer Patient Newsted
haha love Metallica in all their forms!
I like em all but i think its more like James "the cowardly lion from the wizard of Oz" Hetfield. : ) Or possibly James Vanzandt Hetfield? :)
Playing a song from Justice with Jason on bass wearing a Metallica shirt... it doesn't get much more Metallica than this
Trujillo is good, but Jason is soooooo good
+Alex Cespedes and Burton is "God"
But cliff burton will be number one
As of now, Jason is the best as compared to Trujillo. Trujillo is too bulky to play bass. Since,Trujillo join this band, the bass volume vanishes. Might be becoz of sound engineers but in every live in concert, Jason's bass volume always is audible. That's true, buddys. But, Cliff Burton ,of couse is the best among them. Trujillo sucks. Trujillo suits with black Sabbath with fuckin' Ozzy.
damn I miss fuckin Jason 😐😐😕😕 He gave so much energy to live shows ..
@@pinkbastard2.080 Burton is gone. Get over it.
Lars Ulrich of these days with his white TAMA DRUMS is the best performance of his times.
1:24. The epic James Hetfield.
4:41 - 5:03. Metallica’s moment of silence.
It is sad if you imagine how wonderful would be this song at the album with a louder bass
I have been listening to the white album for about 30 years now. And all these bass-boosting versions make me more and more sure the original bass line is perfectly mastered: audible yet not intrusive. A perfect much for a very intricate drum work.
@@PrzemyslawSliwinski I mean, even the producers said that Jason killed it and that James' and Lars' excuses for it not being audible are just bullshit. They did him dirty and still don't wanna admit it.
@@icedviking4485 But these producers are just... producers. Why should I believe them more than creators?
I like Mr. Newsted but he is not a great composer either. The bass lines in Black Album, Load & Reload are amazing albeit he didn't contribute to them too much, did he?
Lars looks Cool Here.
Mathias Tanggaard Winther late 80's - early 90's is Lars at his coolest.
2:34 chills
AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO BELIEVES THAT AND JUSTICE FOR ALL IS THE BEST ALBUM METALLICA EVER MADE.EVEN IF THE PRODUCTION IS BAD AND THE ELECTRONIC DRUMS,EVEN IF JASON'S BASS IS HARD TO LISTEN,I BELIEVE AND JUSTICE IS DARK EVIL AND THRASH TOGETHER!
electronic drums?! lmao you clearly know nothing. and the production on ...and justice was damn near perfect
@@tomsauzay351 I'll agree that the drums weren't electric but the production on justice sucked. Everything is by far too thin, no room sound on drums at all and the guitars without any real low end sound like a demo. Any version of justice songs with bass added back in sound infinitely better. Look up Ahdy Khairats version of blackened, immediately sounds much Fuller
@@bbenton2343 no bass makes it raw, gritty and mean. I'm glad it doesn't have bass tbh. Fits the times better imho
@@joshuadavis2505 no bass makes it gritty, sure, but it sounds weak
@@bbenton2343 the natural tone of a bass guitar sounds too poppy for me (unless it's lemmys tone). So on an aggressive album such as justice I think it fits better to lack it. But that's just me
I fully agree man, And Justice for all is their best album overall, no doubt about it.
bass sound: EPIC
Jeff Waters on guitar, Jason Newsted on bass, Anselmo on vocals and that crazy teacher from "Whiplash" on drums - it would be sooo great balds-band..
I miss Jason... his bass is amazing here
james voice never recovered after 1993...
Same as Lars' fills, eh?
Vitor Gabriel Yes it has. His voice from 1996 sounded like his '91 voice and 1999 was good too and his voice now in 2016 is awesome again
RickGrimes41 dude his voice not awesome now, accep that fact even he’d push his limits he cant sing like in 90’s
The hunger was gone after 93. They were still a force but from 1991-1993 they had something to prove.
He did sound better than here tho When they performed Last Caress and So What in 1996. So it did actually recover.
Jason bass track is loud. Thumbs up to sound engineering.
James is like a lion who wants to roar in a fucking epic metal singing.its impossible to find metal singers like him today.long live metallica!we want to see you in israel again.
Imagine him clean shaven during this era.
kirk look really heavy and aggressive in1993,,,fast
please come back newsted you son of a bitch i miss you i want to see you in metallica again
Jason is the best bass player ever :)
Lemmy killmister was ..long live lemmy👏👏👏👏
La mejor Banda del Mundo
I can't remember I could hear the bass that loud on any of And Justice for album songs ...
I HEAR THE AWESOME BASS !!
@MrMikehunt87 Oh, Metallica are still one of the best touring bands out there. James' new voice is amazing without the growl, now that he's gotten over the tunelessness of the St.Anger period, and his guitar playing is probably even better than it was back in the 80s. Altogether, extremely great band in the 2010s, more refined and comfortable onstage than they used to be.
Amazing stuff!!!!! Hell yeah baby!!!!
Essa versão e aquela na Rússia são as melhores dessa música.
i saw him with his band last night and they put on a killer show. trust me, he's better off with what hes doin now. his new music is incredible
Best band ever!!!
Yeahhhh,,, Wow crazy !!!!
i love all the actings of kirk hammett with guitar in these years.
You can tell here James voice is starting to go /:
This is great and you posted like the full show, witch to my knowledge wasnt saved on tape, sure seek&destroy for example has suffered some loss on video, but the audio is as good as on this and that´s what counts to me.
n/
Metalica is good...I love 😍😍😍😍
ASSOLUTAMENTE SI!
Wish I had this on dvd. And I wish that there was footage from after Battery. There's audio of creeping death though.
Good times metallica😈
same!
LANGUAGE OF THE MAAaaaaAaaaaaAaaaaaAaaAAAADDDDDD!!!!!!
This is one INCREDIBLE setlist. sanitarium & fade to black, nothing else matters & the unforgiven, so what & caress, horsemen/seek/creeping/puppets/harvester.........if only i were there...babies are allowed at heavy metal concerts right?
harvest of sorrow lenguaje of the mad
Andres Altamar. language of the mad.
ohh yes
he was translating in his head literally from Spanish I presume.
@@NicholasDeLisi Google translator
@bla78ck Jason Newsted was awesome dude had energy and charisma out the ass
james is struggling so bad, makes me feel sad for him
DJENT!
4:56 lol
What's the name of the solo of Kirk at the end???????
3 years on the road james voice got really bad
300 and so shows 3 hours each! O.O After the black album tour he couldn't say a word i assume!
This is why they are the best ever..Sam Lennon your a dope!
awesome performance, but nothing like when they played this song in moscow!
Metallica - Harvester of sorrow Live in Basel '93
you know how deadly if you combine 2 esp guitars in a gig right?
what song does kirk play at the end? is it a song or just his own writing?
i want that stage banner
When Metallica was good
0:34 devil's voice
He did understood Metallica's evil so much that he suffered it constantly. If he returned, I think he would only record, but not gig with them at concerts. =^( That kind of shit only happens in Megadeth, but not Metallica.
Imagine James clean shaven during this era.
i’d rather not, thank you
Lars Battery was still big in this time ...Nothing like today !
What is Kirk playing at the end?
few... excellent, but few and treated as guests exclusively for the XXX anniversary, and I still think it was because both liked Metallica, not the other way (like James saying if Jason wanted him to 'bark' for him as second voice in Whiplash, and shit like that I am sure he listened a lot back in the days...) ... Anyway, I still think Jason (also Mustaine) are total badass playing with Metallica, Mustaine in Megadeth, Jason on his projects, as well as Metallica with its actual lineup.
far out... james is singing nearly like he would be in the studio, bass sounds awesome, guitar sounds like it should be ( really heavy) , drums sound impressive, solo sounds insane, they all have that messy metal look.. what happened? i mean metallicas still good, but not this good. the crowd here is going nuts, you would never get a crowd like that for metallica today :/ i think i was born a generation too late.
@jerryflack4eva Yeah this was when he lost his metal voice...
jesus drummer
5:03
Man, do I fucking miss 1993 Metallica!
eah james swears like a smith
para nada, la esconde en su palma.
I wonder...if you put them on one of these stages where they're right next to the fans, gave Lars his old white kit and wooden sticks, gave James and Kirk their old amps, and had James grow out his hair again...would they sound as good as this?
1:24-1:27 slowmotion?
You all put your fucking eyeballs on Ja-son - he's going to show ya what the f*ck to do!
Thumbs up if you can play the solo kirk plays at the very end.
try with 2x speed xD
+Арсен Михайлян 1.5*
4:02
0:16 LOL
And 0:37
haha i know man, its sad and kinda funny cause he gets pissed right away and instead of stop growling and screaming like that, he does it even louder! he gets pissed! >_
@greggg34 It just got smaller..
alte mann das heisst "we were there" ;-)
This performance is fucking shit compared to Moscow and Seattle!! Poor James he was probably pissed that his voice was starting to go :(
he recovered his voice in 1996 dude, but yes in 1993 he got a minor vocal injury while recording in the studio.
But listen to king nothing's vocal track, fuel's vocal track, in both songs his voice is more powerful than in 1989-1992 and on top of that the songs are really how should I put it, lighter, softer and not agressive.
And my best example is the vocal track of my appocalypse.
Crazy Psycho Yes My Apocalypse is rather amazing considering he was in his mid-40's!!
Metallica Rulez!!!!!!!!!!!!
eyeballs on Jay-sun
BASS
@Jamezizdman lol james voice is hurting here
2:56 james fucks up lol
...
...
*AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALL*
when the bass is so loud, but doesnt have the thump like on live shit :(
was?
Jason era a alma do Metallica.
我認為同樣的事情兄弟
0:20 eeewwwww :s
@TheM3ta1Mi1itia lol
@mbd303030 its like hes playin slap bass on a guitar :L
nothing to do,jason has CARISMA,period.
James Hetfield or Thor?
Jason was an idiot for cutting his hair, since then they never recovered.
His hair was fried from the smoke and pyro. He probably would have grown it out again if everybody else hadn't cut theirs.
honestly that was a blessing he looked like a trooll doll with that hair
James Bayly That wasnt Jason that was James it happened at Montreal 92 James cut his hair in 94
Josh Spring to be exact james still had long hair in 1994 and in he had a mullet in 1995 and eventually in 1996 he cut his hair along with the rest of the band
Maybe lars should grow his hair so he can get his old drumming self ..im telling you its the hair folks 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lars obviously coked out.
Хубавапесвн
4:24.
luKaz895 yes what about it
Kirk fucked up the solo...
Rahi Abrar as always
Where's the triplets in the intro Lars you fraud
Always Hungry um..it's his own song, he can do what he wants.
haters
Never realized till now how bad a guitarist Curt is !
James' voice is really fucked up on this one.
he got a minor vocal injury during 1993, his voice recovered in 1996. :/
+IIIRattleHeadIII it never fully recovered. the same can be said about the band in general. rip metallica 1981-1993
Fraiture the injury he had in 1993 was the same as the one he had in 1990 while recording the black album, yet he still sang like he used to before during the black album tour
