With all respect….most of the adults have seen a king being crowded in Europe and most of the younger and not so young people will see it, if they care.
Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands have Kings that were crowned in 2013 and 2014.
The kings of Sweden and Norway and the danish Queen are almost or over 80 years old.

There was some discussion about this some decades ago. I was surprised a little on finding he will keep his name.

People who were named Arthur and were destined to be kings did even less well.
I'm not surprised that he has chosen his given name as Sovereign. He has been known by that name publically all of his life, so to change it at 73 yrs old made little sense. HRH now has the opportunity to make Charles III the best King Charles in the history of the monarchy. Long live the King!

It's the Mercat Cross (i.e. 'market cross' in Scots dialect) in the centre of Edinburgh (on the Royal Mile beside St Giles Cathedral). Historically, it's the traditional location for the reading of royal proclamations in Scotland.
