Very nice. I have an Rg4EX1FM1 in blue. Basically same guitar just a year newer with flamed maple top rather than quilted. I put in a set of Dimario's years ago.. I'm getting ready to upgrade the trem to a Gotoh soon, the old Edge 3 has given up the ghost.. But it's still a great player
Edge 3 are low-end bridges made with soft metal, so unfortunately the knives and the studs get worned out with time. But they do feel and look great tho. They could be replaced with Edge Pro which were high end without modifications to the body, but they are not produced anymore. Anyway, for very light use it will be more than good. As for the rest of the guitar, it's an Ibanez RG, you can't go wrong with these! :)
Whether its ibanezs low end edge trem compared to alot of other licensed floyds or floyd specials or any trem of the “ low end” or budget trems i think it feels great and seems alot more solid then those comparable trems in my opinion i dont have much experience on the edge trems being ive only been into ibanez for the last year or so ive hated them for a long time and not even really sure why maybe because everyone and there mother had one growing up ? 😂idk i dont even have a good reason now i have more ibanezs then any other brand lol
@@SIX1NINEGUITARSANDGEAR Inded they do. Hard to do worse than the cheap licensed floyd or special anyway, these are the worst… Ibanez, even for they low-tier bridge, do their own design and they should be given credit for that. Even when they are cheap, they look and feel great.
