Hey guys! It’s been a while I have missed yall!!! I realised 2 of my cons were basically the same which just goes to show how hard it was to think of cons!😂😂
Im a straight hair natural too and I agree I keep telling people that curls are not an indication of healthy hair! You can have perfect curls and when you straighten it them ends be tore up hair shaft be tore up!
I love the end where you illustrate your curls vs your straight hair now. It can be very deceiving (curls hiding damage). And I’m so glad to see the long-term use of the amino acid treatments still can lead to great length retention. Thank you ❤!
Thank you girl! I can’t wait to see where my hair will be a year/2 from now! & yeah I had to mention it cause people assume curls = healthy and it doesn’t always🤍🤍
Thank you for your videos! Yes please do a video on an updated routine about maintaining the silk press. I am struggling with my edges and nape reverting, the rest is fine 🙏🏼
It's good to see you back doing videos. Your hair is beautiful. Furthermore, it's hard to believe you only have a blowout, on your hair. I have heard many bad things about Keratin treatments, from Cosmetologist, but your hair is telling me something different. I would like to see an updated video. Do you have a video on how you do your Keratin treatments?
Thank you girl! & ikr I need to do an updated video but essentially used a rounded blow dry brush and just went to town! && my last video gives a tutorial ua-cam.com/video/YWxNKmUhIsY/v-deo.htmlsi=N3BJD3bjnuyeEdX_
I hope it's ok to say this but since you mentioned it in another video, your nose looks so good now that it seems it's healed etc. Would you be open to do a video about it? Who you went to, the process etc. There are not so many black women in social media talking about it
@@Michelle-dm3nl hey girl it’s absolutely fine thank you! I literally love it more and more as it heals! And I would be happy to answer any questions privately but don’t think I’d do a designated video cause the internet can be abit crazy sometimes 😂 there is few black girls that do post and the ones that do end up getting so much hate because it’s seen as taboo for some reason 😔xx
Your hair is looking lush. 🤩 Keratin all the way for me. It's the only way that I can retain length for my fine strands. I love all of your hair tips for growth. Do absolutely share your updated routine coz we need this.
@@naturalnadineeI almost forgot that you're still healing 😍 you look so GREAT and so does your hair 😍😍😍 I'll be waiting patiently for your updated routine as well. Thank you for sharing ❤
Glad to see you back on here with new content. You look good and hair looks healthy. Please do an updated video re:the texture release and your routine for the blow out. Is texture release safe for those transitioning from relaxer to natural hair?
Love your videos. Do you also still use the Lador Conditioner? Basically, since the Lador has keratin in it, is that a problem if you have Keratin treatment?
So I recently had my first successful silk press 🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳🥳. I only straighten my hair twice a year when I’m getting it cut, because I love my curly hair more. It lasted 3 weeks, I did get a few sisters with voices at the back. However , that could be easily disguised. Now even though I am black I have type 3 fine hair. My hair goes straight whether I use GHDS (185 heat )or my bio ionic 10x on 230. Obviously it’s dead straight with the 230 heat. Luckily, I used the curlsmith bond salve to revert my curls and had no heat damage. Also I did not use any more heat , once I’d straightened my hair out the first time
@@naturalnadinee my sister is a professional hair stylist, so I have her do it. I’m not used to the length, so once it starts to show its length I’m like “I’m out!” lol. It takes her 45 mins to blow dry and then 40 mins to straighten it. So I leave it to her 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Please give an update after a year on keratin - then I will consider. Would be good to see more long term usage on this - I really don’t want to loose my curls, but I’m really fed up with fighting split ends. My hair actually stopped reverting in humidity.
I have 4c thick shoulder length hair. I get silk press twice a year and i go back to protective hair style like wig n i also use protein treatment in my hair too. But i ve using this routine n my hair is growing. But at the salon i go to my hair stylist recommended me to get keratin treatment n i heard bar things about it and breakage is one of them. If i were to get a keratin treatment what are the best hair products to prevent breakage?
How solid is your hair routine? As breakage can definitely occur after a keratin treatment if you don’t have a solid routine (DC often and keep hair moisturised etc) and I would recommend an amino acid treatment as this isn’t as strong as a KT xx
Hi, when did you notice that you lost your curl pattern? I did a texture release a month ago and it definitely loosened my curl pattern but not completely. I still use keratin hair mask and silicone treatments regularly, but honestly I would like to workout and do saunas without my hair converting back.
Hey girl, mine literally went after the first time 😂 never saw them curls again, but it definitely depends on how you do it, most keratin treatments require quite a lot of heat initially to seal it in thoroughly (3-6 passes with a straightener on each section) which is what I did on my first go, how did you straighten your hair after the treatment?xx Also amino acids aren’t as strong as full blown keratin treatments so maybe your texture might need that to get straight x
@@naturalnadinee I followed the routine in the last video you posted and I think you only did 2-3 passes. But it makes sense cause you probably don’t need to do that many if you do it regularly. I did my first texture release in September, but try to do more passes when I do another round in January. Thank you!😊
So I use a leave in and an oil, (optional) I use a thick leave in on my ends and wrap my hair straight after so it doesn’t revert back. I wake up with moisturised and straight hair x
@@naturalnadineeI recall you mentioning something along the longs of it being a bit harder to get moisture in hair after your keratin treatment, please correct me if I’m wrong

So since you're hair "stays straight," if you wanted to wear curly hair, your only option is a twist or braid out??
