- Judy Collins sings everyone's favorite Christmas carol, "Silent Night" at a concert at the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina in 1996. This carol was first sung on Christmas eve, 1818, in the Austrian village of Oberndorf. The first English translation was in 1871 where it was published in a Methodist hymnal.
On this video clip, the Charlotte Children's Choir is singing with Judy. Musical Director Russell Walden is accompanying her on the piano. This is taken from Judy's 1997 DVD "Christmas at the Biltmore Estate."
