35 Thousand Feet - Window View from 7 Miles Up V24410

These scenes were shot from the window of a Boeing 737 enroute from LAX to BNA (Nashville) with a GoPro Hero5 Black (in 4K and HD resolutions) at about 35,000 feet, while flying at around 550 MPH. The footage highlights some interesting perspectives of a variety of weather encoutered along the way. Many scenes were sped-up by up to 4x to better show the 3-D perspective of some otherwise slow-moving scenes. While it's not often apparent from the ground, clouds can typically be found in many layers at different altitudes, as is clearly illustrated by this footage. While cumulus towers grow from near the ground to 30,000 and 40,000 feet, other types of clouds form in foggy or whispy thin layers at all different levels. Pilots often have to fly in and through various layers and dodge the more dangerous formations, such as Cumulonimbus (thumnderstorms) altogether. They share their cloud observations and turbulence experiences with other pilots and air traffic control as the flight progresses.

Awesome footage bro ! when i was 12 i took a midnight flight (from what i remember it was a mid night flight i dont know why at 12 ) from the east cost to the wast cost and seen the same but i watched the sun do down and the full moon come up ! very nice job !

It's hard to ID in this view - especially with the really wide angle perspective, but that's actually another airliner going the opposite direction, giving it a combined speed differential of around 1100 mph. . It would be cool if it WAS something unidentified, but unfortunately not this time... Thanks for watching and commenting! =)
