Funny Feet 2 - Slow Motion Hummingbird Antics V23975

Hummingbirds do the funniest things sometimes, but they're so fast that we rarely get a chance see it. Now, we can slow them down 10x and even 20x so their antics, contortions, and acrobatics can be seen on our terms!
In these scenes you'll watch hummingbirds hanging upside-down, missing their landings and "feeling" around for the perch, losing balance while feeding/preening, scratching those itchy places (note they actually reach behind their wings over their backs to reach their faces), sticking out their super-long tongues, and more.
One black-chinned male (seen at 1:02) was apparently new at using a feeder and took some time to figure out where to stick his beak to get at the nectar. After a few days he had it down and was feeding like a pro. One bird gets temporarily stuck in the feeder hole (1:33), while another stretches incredibly far to feed while perched instead of hovering (0:18).
Filmed in Santa Clarita, California with GoPro Hero5 and Sony FS-700RH cameras at 120 and 240 frames per second (respectively), the resulting playback at 24fps is up to 10 times slower than real life.
