Gem and Pearl joining Hermitcraft play a big part in Impulse opening up the last few years. And I'm so glad it happened. He's got the loveable teddy bear dad vibes and it's honestly adorable.
I didn't really follow Impulse prior to season 9, but I was following the rest of Boatem at the time. Impulse really did feel like he came out...not like his shell, but the vibes he had with Boatem and then Soup Group felt really genuine. I will say, he left his job to be a full-time YTer around the start of season 8 (I think), so that also probably helped him, because before that he was working a full-time software job. With two kids and a wife.
10:34 I love that they all collectively agreed to hate the stairs as a team to support Scar and were able to switch colors, but its honestly a sad oversight that they didnt bother to make the entire stage wheelchair accessable
Most of these stages are pretty small and made to be taken apart There might have not been enough room for him to maneuver even if they did have a ramp

Yeah that's one thing I really love about HermitCraft. They are competitive but in a healthy way and always support each other and celebrate their achievements together.. you could notice the pride in Impulse's and Gem's voice when cub won the MCC
Not that it was ever in question, but the reassurance that the Hermits and friends are just...good people, is very comforting. After hearing so many nightmare stories about UA-camrs who are terrible people off camera, it's good to know that the people we idolize are better than that.
Honestly, Impulse, Tango and Skizz really do radiate ‘3 dads’ energy, they’re just the best. This looks like an amazing experience, I always love seeing the Hermits together irl ❤

Hermitcraft is definitely a pretty great group of ppl. They’re all very mature, super drama free, and are just good ppl with good instincts when it comes to staying out of trouble online. Plus, they’ve got 3 dads in there, gotta love it.

Gem is one of the few hermits who looks how she sounds in my opinion. Like, looking up their faces when I was just starting to watch them, people like Grian and Scar did not look at all like their voices!
Scar would definitely need the rest yeah. I think one of the first times I really understood how much more tired I was getting than normal people was when we all went and at 10 pm my grandparents and parents were still on the casino floor hanging out and sipping margaritas, while I was in bed completely exhausted. Every night...and I wasnt even getting up early enough for breakfast either!
Holy! I thought Cub was really tall during MCC but then I see this and Skizz is even taller!! Tall and strong-dad-energy good friends for sure helps with feeling safe. You looked so happy and excited, glad to hear you had a good time :D
yeah, Cub, Tango, and Impulse are all around the same height (shorter than average tho maybe Cub's at the average of 5'9) and then Skizz if over 6', this was also shown during the hot ones challenge, when Skizz stood, his head was barely visible whereas Impulse & Tango were completely in frame

Vegas is really emotionally hard to travel to, especially from Canada where the news is filled with usa things. There’s so much concrete and road and tall buildings, so much pollution and confusing directions, and my god the cigar smoke. There’s so much to be anxious about - and I hope anyone reading this who feels that way can find comfort, sending so many virtual hugs!!
As an American who lived near a major city, Vegas is a really difficult city to be in for many of us too, especially on the strip. The buildings are massive, going from inside to outside can be disorienting, and the main street is littered with cards for sex workers. I'm glad gem had a fun and safe experience
As a fan of multiple Minecraft groups such as Hermitcraft and now QSMP, it's so fun seeing the differences in vibes between groups! Always positive and I love them all!
I don't know if anyone else noticed, but when Impulse gave Scar a little push during the walkup it just warmed my heart. I mean, I know if I had a friend in that position I probably wouldn't think too much of it, but it just goes to show that all these people are genuine good friends, in and out of video games.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but when Impulse gave Scar a little push during the walkup it just warmed my heart. I mean, I know if I had a friend in that position I probably wouldn't think too much of it, but it just goes to show that all these people are genuine good friends, in and out of video games.

I’ve been fangirling over some of the hermits and life serise members meeting up all week even though I didn’t go to twitchcon I just think it’s so cool.
Seeing Evan and Katelyn hanging out with the hermits felt like going back full circle for me 🥹
It was a ton of fun watching MCC live, the energy was amazing. It was super exciting
Thank you for hanging out and staying for the signing, as someone in the last batch of people to go up, that had been cut off by twitchcon before at last years con, I was worried while in line

I was and still am obsessing way to much that they got together! I totally missed their mention the first time I watched the video, but spotted Kaitlyn while they were golfing and went 'oh, that kind of looks like Kaitlyn' but didn't think it actually was. Little did I know!

You absolutely made my YEAR! thanks to you, the hermits, and EVERYONE in the hermitcraft community, the creators and fans alike, for making my time at twitchcon (and my birthday) the best experience ever!
i legitimately started tearing up at the end. I don't travel often, much less alone, so I can't fully relate to the experience, but I'm so glad you felt safe while going to a new place alone :)
