@@JeffSongCars LOL shit, I just realized that I took my buffer peice off, that little soft cushion haha. gotta re do the install tomorrow. Dude, thanks again!
That's definitely true! I may do that in the future but my only hesitation is I'm wondering what kind of resistor I would need to set off the LED conversion 😅 Thanks for the support!👍
Thanks for the support! Love the Mars taillights haha and spoiler I have the original somewhere but the paint was completely gone so hmmm that's an idea haha 👍
for the outer tail lights people don't need to pull the trunk liner off, just the two screws and then slowly wiggle the light off while being careful of the small corner by the quarter panel. You did a great job nonetheless
@@JeffSongCars No worries !! thats why i said people and basically didn't try to say "you should have done this" you did a great job on the install and should be proud!
Hey mate! You've did a great job!👍 I just got these taillights and iam pretty much confused about those resistors provided along with the package! Is there any problem if don't use them while doing the installation???
Thanks alot! Yea I was confused with the resistors as well and there is no problem without the resistors installed. I think they actually might be for the inner rear taillights because when you press the brakes it's only the outer rears that actually light up, with the lights on, everything is lit up normally but it's just the braking that is off it seems. The taillights might be made like that or there may have to be some wire splicing needed to make all four light up when pressing the brakes and that's when you use the resistors. Hopefully that made sense hahah 😆👍
Hi bro, i have the same problem, i need to make all four light UP when i press the brake, do you know how to do that? I sent u a message on ig, please help!
Thanks for the support! Yea it's a direct bolt on spoiler with all the correct holes for OEM fitment, its been pretty sturdy and it only mounts to two holes. One is a nut that screws in from the spoiler itself and one is a bolt that screws to the spoiler from below the trunk
Thank you! I'm ordering these today. Question, do u have a back up cam & did the new lights mess with it (common report is the reverse lights flicker &or cam shorts off while in reverse) 2. Where's you headlight video? I can't find it
Awesome you won't regret it! I currently don't have a backup camera installed so not too sure but I feel like maybe it might have to do with the right resistor size? Or the fuse might be too small of a fuse for the backup camera and the new LED lights in the taillamp so might need to put in a bigger fuse. This is the link to my headlight video ua-cam.com/video/ohQa39mrDD8/v-deo.html Thanks for the support and I'll try to answer any questions that I can! 😁👍
@@JeffSongCars thanks, I found it on a search but not under your channel page. I've had this issue with a lot of people I'm subbed to, idk y. I'm ordering as I speak both headlights and tail lights like in your videos. I have a feeling I'll have the tail light issue reported by a lot, most fix with a resistor. Not sure how I'll like the headlights. I love the look but I'm switching from halogen to hids, just need brighter. I fear I may have issues there too due to no sss but nothing a little wiring can't solve. Keep up the mods & videos and I'll be sure to follow. I left my 14 se stock for far to long
@@dodgersfnshepard8673 I feel if you put in a bigger fuse and change the resistor it will fix the issue but I'll see if it does after I install the back up camera. My evo is a non SSS as well so no worries. The only issue that I have with the VLand headlights is that when they're on you can see a little gap in the middle of the beam pattern, its not that big of a deal but it's definitely noticeable. Thank you and yea you should definitely start fixing up your car! The feeling after putting on mods is just... 🥳 hahaha
