Video is a GREAT help with installing the VLAND tail lights. The ONE thing you forgot to mention is when you are plugging the yellow/orange bulb housing to the 2-wire and Grey housing to the 3-wire housing, you HAVE to make sure to connect them the RIGHT way. They will connect either way/direction, but only ONE way is correct. If you do not connect them the right way, your running lights and brake lights will NOT work once you have everything else hooked up. If this happens, simply unplug them and turn them 180 degrees and reconnect and they should work fine.
I appreciate you so much, vlands video and other videos all have older wiring harnesses that no longer come with them and you made this so simple. THANK YOU!!!
Thanks. Your video was helpful, I've seen others and they're aren't helpful as yours. Boyfriend was able to get the lights set with your video. Once again thank you.
Thank you for the comment. I am glad that you liked it and hope that it helps you with your install. If you have any questions you are welcome to reach out and I will be glad to answer them. If you have any issues with your product let me know that as well because VLAND is one of my active sponsors. I also have a couple R&D projects I am working on with them. Any ideas or suggestions are also welcome.
Thank you, I will. The video for the Head light install will be coming out this Monday. We also have an E-brake rebuild for the Evo, O2 sensor replace for the Evo, and the reveal for the new car to the channel coming over the next couple weeks.
Thank you for the accolades. Helping people is why I do these. I will have videos starting to come out a gain in a couple weeks. I have a stack on the editing room floor that I just have not had time to finish editing yet.
Have you tried what Lando4535 mentioned in the comment below? Have you double checked each of the wire connections to make sure that they are not loose and that's at each wire connection point. If you have done all of this you may need to contact VLand and try to get a warranty replacement.
Thanks for this video it’s really help me to fix my light, I have lancer model , I have one problem with this light when I install it the cruise control stop and was the break sensor have showing up the engine mark light but when I watch your video then I installed good so everything okey now not engine light and no resistor heating but only the problem is cruise control can you please to advice or if any way to connect you , I will really very appreciate it ❤️
I had an issue month two with a flicker of the tail light. I inspected it, disconnected the connectors, checked the wires, cleaned the connection points then plugged it all back up and have not had an issue since.
I've seen multiple websites for VLAND, I want to make sure I order from the right one. Any issues from the ones you ordered? I've hear some people say they stop working after a while, or that they're not very waterproof?
I just got these and have been trying to install, and do you see where on 11:37 there are red, green, and black coming out on the innermost portion of the tail light on your drivers side? My passenger side VLAND tail light does not have these. Is this a manufacturer defect....?
The thought counts. I appreciate it. I have more videos coming but we just bought a house and I've been busy getting the property up to my yard standards. The positive people like you are why I do this. Thank you.
I have not had to change anything yet for the tail lights and have not had to do anything that is not in the video yet. Did they have any abnormal behavior prior to not working?
@@rbautomotivetv1241 they flicker when I turn the lights on & cut out. Currently my tail lights aren’t even working except the turn signals & reverse lights
@@rbautomotivetv1241 my day time running lights are working for my headlights but not my tail lights. Brake lights are also out. Only my reverse & blinkers work.

You will get the product you want from any of them. vlandmotor.com/ is who had sponsored me last year but I would say either them or www.vland-official.com/

That's awesome. Glad I could help. That's why I do these.
Best video on the internet about how to install these lights
I can attest to his statement that the hardest part of the install is making through that efffin rubber tube (grommet) using dogtag and some strings!
I'm about to install mine now. Thanks for the video. Simple and informative.
Glad it could help. If you run into any difficulties you can DM me through FB or drop a message here and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
I watched your whole video and only one half of one side worked
Really helpful video. Thanks for showing a non electrical guy how to do it.
Thank you for the compliment.

I have not had any issues with the tail lights so far.
@Matthew King, I have a new reply about the websites. Sorry I didn't answer that with my last reply.

Hey bro, are both headlights supposed to have 3 wires attached to it?
Like pre installed?
Did you end up using a different resistor? My tail lights are currently out & idk what to do to fix them

you need to add some 6ohm 50w resistors will sort that out
There’s vland-official , vlandmotor, and another one.. which is the legit site?? Lol

Don't get it from vland-carlamp.com. their shipping method is so slow. It took almost a month to get mine.
hey, just wondering do these vland headlights and tail lights fit on regular lancer variants? Such as the es or lx?
The Head and tail light units should fit any Mitsubishi Lancer from 2008 through 2015
again best install Video! thankyou again
